Hello

I have question about Ratskin gang. Were tehy only one version of ratskins ? or they were rereleased like Enforcers and design was changed ? I saw ratskin on GW site but they look different from some other models I've seen somewhere. The one I like were in my opinion similar to indians, not many clotch, lots of ratskins and furs, rat heads hats. And awesome gang leader with fury hat with horns and bones on his cheast. Are they still avillible or they were repleaced ?

I would be very thankfull for fast answer cause im watching ratskin auction which ends tomorrow.

Yes, as far as I can see the models on GW´s site now are resculpts. The original ones were much more "feral" and indian like, where as these seem more "gangsta" to me.

However, the ones I remember were mostly used as ratskin scouts, not sure they were ever made into an entire gang back then...

The Ratskins on the GW site are the second version of the gang, released when all the Outlander gangs and Enforcers got re-sculpted

The models that look like Indians and have big Rat furs on them, they are the original gang and are no longer available except off sites like eBay.

I prefer the older models too, they were my first Necromunda Gang, so I have a load kicking about waiting to be re-painted.

The Old Ratskins also had different rules. The model you describe with the Rat skull and bones on his chest isn't a Ratskin Chief, but a Shaman, an option that wasn't included in the updated rules.

You can get the old rules for Ratskin Gangs in the Outlanders book.

Hope this helps ^^

EDIT- you beat me to it Xanthos!

Muahahahh, the reply ninja strikes again Bottle.

Most of the important stuff from Outlanders is actually available on GW´s site, but atm the entire book is not available for download.

At least not an official GW version.

That is the first time I have felt the awesome crushing power of the ninja Xanthos D:

Outlanders is still worth picking up, just because all the Special Characters, the Treacherous Conditions table, the Campaign Events table and all the cool arbitrator stuff wasn't included in the updated Outlander supplements by Fanatic if I remember correctly. (I think they ran out of funding before they could include it all!)
