Hello, all! Well after a few weeks of cutting, molding, and scrapping I got my Deathwing converted and sent to Centurion99 for painting.

I just received the army back today and I have to say he did an excellent job and really took the time to get what I wanted done. My son and I are currently working on the Speed Freaks, but I did this army for him. He has a lot of medical issues and we weren't sure he would make it this last time so I built an army for his dedication and to share the message while I'm out and about.

You can read more here if you want.

Soo! Here they are:

Mortis Pattern Dreads (I have the Melta/Assault Cannon and DCCW as well since they were magnatized):

HQ's:

Objective markers:

Command Squad with Banner/Apoth:

Assault Squad (I have two like this):

Shooting Squads (I have three like this):

And the Whole Shabang:

I've got assault cannons and other weapons for the Termi's and just mix/match as I need or see fit. And many a model has felt the wrath of "The Swifer"

Thanks again BK for the great communication and super job getting these done!

Hope to see you all out there soon!

I really love the ribbons on the termies and the banner with your son's face on it (I presume) on the objective marker.

"From the fires of Betrayal unto the blood of revenge we bring the name of Lorgar, the Bearer of the Word, the favored Son of Chaos, all praise be given to him. From those that would not heed we offer praise to those who do, that they might turn their gaze our way and gift us with the Boon of Pain, to turn the Galaxy red with the blood, and feed the hunger of the Gods."

Yep, when UF said he wanted the Donate Life ribbons and his son's face, I decided to give making customized transfers a whirl. Worked out well, I think, although feeding a half-sheet (the size of the custom transfer sheets) into my printer was a PITA until I gave up on trying to do it the way my printer's manual said to do it, and just loaded the paper in sideways.

I have to say, I did the painting, but the assembly/conversion work by UF was top-notch. He shipped me finshed models that were actually finished, and did so in a way that the models didn't all fall apart in shipping (admittedly, the amount of magnetization helped. ).

Great work from both of you. And I am glad to hear that this army was made for a noble cause over just the average, I WANT AN ARMY, idea. Although, I like the latter idea as well.

The boy was really impressed when he saw the Termies, but when I pulled out the Dreads and showed him the different arms his eyes got real big! Then he promptly started pointing the Assault Cannon at me . . .

Good times!

I'm not trying to bring this back from the dead, but since it's my post:
