A slum in scotland... the only shinty with a computer!

From what i see in the picture i couldnt say, i realy dont mean to be a gurn, but you can tell there red eldar with dark guns, but thats about it from the picture.

sorry, good luck to yah though,

a small tip for highlighting i use is if its like the edge of the armour i use the flat side of the brush, means less shake and less controll is neesed for a fairly good result.

for $2 a model not meny people would mind if the highlighting is brilliant, if its table top i think it would go fine,

has your camera got a macro feture? this will help a bundle, also get some white paper and make a kinda block so you see no background, helps the camera phocus on only the model and not the chair in the background or the cat, or the nabouts car......... i think im done with examples now.

Anyway, have you got any ideas if youll keep that price relitivly univercal? cos i recon you could take requests if you can keep costs down and results fairly high and quick.

btw, spacemarines sell well, lol, everone has a few atleast,

that was using the macro ill keep the white paper in mind.

there is two of us painting and were just practing on diffrent models they take a hour to paint but they look pritty cool.

i think that £2 for a infantay unit is reasonable im not to sure on other prices lol

sounds good enough, if you can get a hold of a bit of money from this(or out of your pocket) you could "invest" in a AoBR box, lots of things to practace on and sell, there quite easy to paint, and there is a fairly large volume of them for just over the price of a full boxed squad(ok, maby two squads, but your gettin ALOT more in there).

as you progress you can start charging more, but ull need to be realy realy good to compeat with some of the big boys.... have a look at past golden deamons, that quality(its scary at times).

but keep up the goos work, oh, and a daylight bulb (daylight is a good cheep alturnative) just above the paper will help, but you can sometimes get shadows and such from that.

I love the AOBR set. Sure the minis are "convertable" and somewhat static. But some clever thinking and a couple chopped up parts and they really come alive. I think the warboss in there is just awesome.
And Im guessing bob the stompa is the one in your avatar? If so then me likey. The new Stompa is just the bees knees if you ask me. I want that kit just to have it ontop of my tv center.

quick tip on adding instant terail and depth, sitadel washes, if you manage to get the appropriate colours for the base colour then ut shades it nearly perfectly, all you gota do it wait for it to dry, and if your feeling advencherious(yes its spelled wrongly, ) try some highlighting.

are you undercoating your models? (like a primer) this makes painting alot easyer as the paint sticks better and just looks.... better,
