basically this list is me trying to use an effect marine force without taking armor, and yes the devastator squads look like template bait, but i am sticking to the fluff of a chapter that lacks any real armor (so few terminator suits, no tanks, no dreads, maybe Land Speeders), just wanting to hear what every body thinks basically, so C&C is very welcome

first turn the bikes charge something, probably a tank or something like that, the sternguard gate of infinity to the locator becon, and so dont roll scatter, and lary down melta or specialist bolter fire, while the scouts hang out in 2+ cover, firing their sniper rifles at everything that moves. on turn 5 the librarians gate to a scout squad, then on turn 6 gate to objectives.

the thunderfire cannons are really only there for the +2 save for the snipers. If you don't like them for fluff reasons, they can be swapped out for another scout squad.

well the fluff to the army, is they lack any true armor or resources so no bikes, tanks, dreadnoughts or specialists, so no more than 1 Librarian,Chaplain or squad of terminators per battleforce , they are a ship to ship assault force, ment to strike with speed and cripple the foe with pinpoint strikes(which if played right, they can cause hell), a i got to play with for a little bit, it is very very shooty, i maimed a 20 man zerker squad, did the same to another zerker squad same size, stunned a monolith, and nearly wiped out a squad of immortals and warriors, and my firing turn still had a few shots left, and that was still with my terms and my two tac squads off the board, i like the idea of a fast assault, where mostly everything is deep striking, and with all the locator beacons i am giving my army a place to land is no issue, it will allow me to reinforce my lines as the game goes along, so if for example, lets say i my dev squads are going to be assaulted the next turn, if i have a scout squad near them(and i will, the snipers with be at least near the mass of shooty marines) i can bring in my two tac squads and deploy making a meat shield to protect my shooty marines, and while this is going on, i can deep strike my terminators near by my HQ's Drop pod and have them add some much needed fire to the small 5 man squad, i am interested in weak points, where i can enhance the list, not gut it out completely, like is there a better way to run my dev squads, etc

after playing a game with this list, i found myself in need of some serious anti tank punch, so i decided to arm my tac squads with melta guns as well as my Sternguards
