What mark of chaos would Word Bearers' have? I'm trying to come up with a list for them and am wondering sort of fluff-wise what mark would they have.

To maintain some sort of competitiveness.
I've been stretching the fluff by mixing in 'Marked' squads that use liturgies and invocations to individual gods.

You could as consider running bloodletters as berzerkers and plague bearers as plague marines etc. if you have those models lying around and don't want to use them as crappy Summoned Daemons

Well, that could debated if you consider the Word Bearers' books fluff. If you do, then setting about different marked squads is all too fluffy. It says in Dark Apostle that chaos marines more devoted to Khorne than others are sent into combat first. It goes on to say that they still balance them with the other chaos gods, but they are damn close to berzerkers. For awhile I debated using them in my own list, Khorne Berzerkers modelled to appear less Khornate and more undivided, while still retaining the blood rage of khorne.

"From the fires of Betrayal unto the blood of revenge we bring the name of Lorgar, the Bearer of the Word, the favored Son of Chaos, all praise be given to him. From those that would not heed we offer praise to those who do, that they might turn their gaze our way and gift us with the Boon of Pain, to turn the Galaxy red with the blood, and feed the hunger of the Gods."
