So, I've been rereading the army lists, codex and ect. and seeing what people DON'T use and tyring to figure out why.

While it's pretty clear why I would want to avoid Flash Gitz, what I don't get is the aversion to Tankbustas, They seem like a real killy entry, especially against marines. Anyone have some insight into this?

Because your opponent can lead them around by the nose. You're paying a lot of points for a unit that, if your opponent has any tanks, will die quickly, or get misdirected.

I mean, a group of marines can drive up in their rhino and stand right in front of these guys. The tankbustas will ignore the marines and shoot the rhino, and not be allowed to assault the marines either. They're some really fun looking models, but the rules for them make them fairly useless on the field. Any opponent who feels threatened by them will make them a priority target.
