Ok i was figuring i would start another army but im not sure wich army to pick. so far the armys i wont pick are as follow

Necrons(already have played, and there taking a back seat till new codex)
Normal space marines
Chaos daemons(already own army)
daemonhunters
Imperial Guard

Armys i am thinking of

Space wolves (long fangs seem good at ranged, and packs of bloodclaws hiding powerfist are good at range)

Tyranids

eldar (this is iffy, it depends on if my friend stops playing them)

For Space Wolves, wait till the new codex comes out, Nids are fun but maybe try something a bit different, go Dark Eldar. There's a new codex in the works they are taking their time with to make sure it works damned well and few people play them. Full of tricks and really just awesome all around, get some Dark Eldar into you. Besides, like Eldar but way cooler.

Never played darkeldar, but they never seemd intresting to me.

nids can huge amounts of fun my mate mas a horde army and just seeing an oponents face when 200 to 300 stealers take to the field and you get the EEEEEEEK moment
he belives nids should be a never ending carpet of teeth and claws with the bare minimum of large gribblies , it looks absolutly awsome but i have said he deserves an award for that much painting .

To be honest, if these are your choices, you're probably best off waiting until one of them gets a new Codex. Space Wolves are supposed to come out September, so they'll be your best bet. Nids & Eldar are a toss up which comes out earlier.

Go for the Space Wolves, despite a new Dex on their horizon the current one is still pretty cool, I got to look through it for the first time a while ago, found the thing on the net, and enjoyed the character. On the note of character I hope that Phil Kelly doesn't suck all of the flavor out in order to make them a tournie winning dex.
