Is the bike that is in the Scout Biker Box the same as the bike in the basic SM bike box?

Also, other than the bolt pistol is there a different arm option with a heavier weapon, like a plasma or melta gun?

No, its a little smaller and has a different biker. There is a pistol, a sword, and a grenade arm options.

drat. Wished it had like a shotgun or bolter option.. of course, the bike has a bolter, no?

It does have a shotgun option for the rider.

Also has options for the grenade launcher bit and twin linked bolters for the bike itself.
