My God! A masterpiece right there.
Though, I must say, 81 USD is quite expensive, though whoever wins it will be the envy of his gaming group.

Yeah isnt he supposed to look like a huge fething Norse SM, with fangs and old school armor. All I see is a Dwarf with a giant beard and cloak so the sculptor could be lazy and skip half the details.

Look at the hammer, it's aplain GS square with a decoration on the side....
|
And so, due to rising costs of maintaining the Golden Throne, the Emperor's finest accountants spoke to the Demigurg. A deal was forged in blood and extensive paperwork for a sub-prime mortgage with a 5/1 ARM on the Imperial Palace. And lo, in the following years the housing market did tumble and the rate skyrocketed leaving the Emperor's coffers bare. A dark time has begun for the Imperium, the tithes can not keep up with the balloon payments and the Imperial Palace and its contents, including the Golden Throne, have fallen into foreclosure. With an impending auction on the horizon mankind holds its breath as it waits to see who will gain possession of the corpse-god and thus, the fate of humanity...... |

Yes, I agree with Mattyboy about the hammer. It needs more, and more would have been easy to add.
Cryonicleech; using 'though' twice in the same sentence isn't really great grammar.

It's a very nice piece of work, and something unique and different. I really like it. However, I wouldn't say it's Russ himself. A Wolf Lord, sure. It just doesn't quite fit with Russ.

So in conclusion kids when you make a HUGE FETHING WOLFMAN VIKING SPACE MARINE WITH A HUGE FETHING AXE AND TWO HUGE FETHING WOVES make sure its not a dwarf with a massive cloak, a hammer and no wolves.

Not bad, if you called it a wolf guard or maybe just about get away with lord. Nice try, and deffo better than I could manage, but Russ? Nah, not in a million years. Doesn't look feral enough, or come with wolves and importantly: Where is the Spear of Russ? Wouldn't pay a tenner for that one, let alone the 80 odd USD Since when did Russ wear Temi armour

I prefer the GW sculpt to both of these.
1st) Ghost was spot on with the dwarf thing...
2nd) I can't put my finger on it, but there's just something off about the stance.
I like the 2nd sculpt's head better than the 1st, but ultimately, I'd pass on both.

You're right I would still bitch, because the beard, the hair and the ork head all look like pure gak. As well as the hand holding the hammer. Plus the armor looks like every other gs mold armor ever done squiggly assed lines and all. Then you have the cape on the back, which doesn't seem to fit with Space Wolves as they generally wear a wolfpelt as a cape across their back.
Yes at the moment this guy can do better than me with making gs molds and making stuff with out gs molds as I have barely even began to fiddle with the stuff.
As for his 'skill' after making a mold it can't be that hard to make armor.

I didn't like it either. I just doesn't look good enough to justify an 132$ price tag. And tbh it just doesnt look like a space wolf. No wolf skulls/tails/badges/heads anywere on the model. Looks more like a fantasy model to me.
Its just a beard with shoulder pads and a hammer really...
