Back in the cavernous chamber where he had slain the guards and met his new companion, his enormous hand curls slowly into a fist. Otto turns away from Gaz and sets down the little bound goblin propped against a wall. He addresses Flail with an ugly glare:

"I have given you a long time to speak Flail. This silent treatment hurts my feelings. Give me a reason we should still be friends? Rest assured, I will be fine , although I would regret losing my new friend, I'm sure I will move along in life. Move along to the gate that is, it would just take a while longer to find it. But think of the joy and the bonding should we find it together? We would be hailed as HEROs Flail for helping save the day! So what is it? Friends still, or are you going to continue with this silent treatment? Well? I'm waiting, and my companion here is getting bored with this game... Don't you want to be a hero too?"

You hear the two creatures land from their perch near your hiding place, sniffing about.

The head of a purple stag jabs into the piles of leaves and twigs with a shriek of triumph, sinking it's fangs into your arm.

The path curves off into three different staircases, two leading upp, and a third going downwards.

Your attack goes wild, and the peryton clamps it's vise-like jaws down on your wrist, causing you to scream in pain.

The cavern forks in two directions, one straight ahead, and the other leading to the left.

I slowly walk ow the one on the left, looking out for any disturbance.

You enter through the left passage, feeling a cool breeze coming from somewhere up ahead.

You go down the sloping stairs, and come to a small platform, a hunched figure looks over the endless grey field, sobbing quietly.
