Really impressive. Just out of curiosity: if you calculated material cost + a reasonable hourly rate for your work at what costs would you roughly arrive for one of these? Regardless if you want to sell or not, I would be interested how big the difference to resin models would be.

estimated cost of materials is about 10USD, work time - let's be generous - 28 hours (minimum payment rate here is like 1.5USD ) - 42 USD
total cost is like 50USD Automatically Appended Next Post: Tommygun1918 wrote:Very nice. I scratched built one years ago out of plastic sheets.
I can still flinch thinking about all those rivets.
rivets are not really is hard to glue - this more boring

That's not exactly individual tracks. In fact it's just a flat stripe of paper with holes to mimic real tracks and details to mimic grousers of real tracks. Smoke and mirrors

I was a bit unprecise. I meant it is amazing that you go into it and add hat amount of details to the tracks

Boom! Leman Russ Commander

Agreed: the level of detail that you scratchbuild with paper exceeds that of many injection molded kits- and far, far, exceeds the level of detail that the original Rhino kit had (I bought a three pack of 'em, back in the day!).
Always a pleasure to look in here and see what new amazing thing there is to see.

Yep, gotta agree with Meet Cat and Pyroalchi, the level of detail is phenomenal. The Whirlwind looks better than the GW kits
