Since scouts are new to the chapter, do I need to resize them? My tactical & assualt are 1/2" taller then reg out of the box marines, the termies are 3/4" taller then normal....But scouts have not undergone all changes yet, right?

Hmm... Ive always thought that scouts were mostly finished marines...as far as all the weird guts and whatnot inside. Then again, I dont really care for SM so getting that technical, I never cared to do lol

Scouts are just marines without the experience and power armor. If you do try to true scale them good luck, I have never seen it done in such a way that it doesn't clash horribly with every other humanoid model.

Thing is though, every chapter is different. You could say your scouts ARE just normal people undergoing the process, and without the full implants yet. It's a bit of a cop-out, but it's perfectly reasonable.

They are space marines..so they would still be larger than an IG model..but smaller than a space marine in power armor.

In my opinion THE best true-scaled marines I've seen. Helps that they're Scythes of course.

"And what is wrong with their life? What on earth is less reprehensible than the life of the Levovs?"
- American Pastoral, Philip Roth

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.

I think I will slightly increase their size, like in this photo (not mine), by using sm & new ig command & bits and a little grenstuff & plasticard....That way I can run a spartan (300 movie) themed sm army as a black templars army and the scouts will be equiv to Thebans......

Shas'El Tael rules! This is exactly the direction I've been looking to go. Thanks for posting that link. Very inspirational.
