playing DA i dont get to put techmarines on bikes (boooooo)
but libs and chaps on bikes or with jump packs for me rocks as my guys are still combat monsters plus my lib powers are a flamer template so closer faster is all good for me

Just put the pack on a chaplain and leave him by the objective. Not many people are going to come charging down when they know they're facing instant death, a ld test, and sweep/consl.

And I also play DW (for better or worse) and I love the template on my Lib.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

Chappy on bike is maybe not as good, since bikes are more of a shooting platform than an assault platform. Better to stick the HQ in with Jump Pack guys or Deep Strike.

WHAT!!!!

T5 turbo boost etc
he is just as good with either

plus the squad you put him with can blat away with plasma / melta and jump allover there faces

have used it on many ocasions (today for one) launched into combat with a 40 man guard squad no wounds taken and squad broken and then run down .....not too shabby

Agreed. If you can get another point of anything with the Chappy it will pay off.

You missed out techmarine with Jump pack (which templars can still take) once you throw in lightning claws, termie honours and a servo harness, (based on your average templar build). you are looking at 6 power weapon attaacks rerolling to hit and wound plus 2 power fist attacks rerolling to hit, making him pretty good at beating up on stuff (not so good at fixin tanks)

I prefer Librarians either on a Bike with a Command Squad and having Avenger or a Chaplain with Jump Packs.

I just dont really see the point of a Librarian with a Jump pack when a bike does the same pretty much and gives him toughness 5. I could go either way with the chaplain both are nice options.

Techmarine on a bike not so much.

Master of the Forge with Conversion Beamer though is nice.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

remember that bikes cant go through difficlut terrain without taking a damge test
but jumpacks ignore that
also techmarines on bikes can get to damged vehicles faster then on foot
