I wasn't too keen on the heavy drones, but thpse sensors look fantastic, simple to make and make great objectives or secenry !, could you possibly post up a stage by satge of how they are built, just incase there are any hidden techniques

Cheers

great ideas and all pulled off well.
of course, tau players will rarely use flamers, so there will be plenty spare.
if you dont have the parts check ebay as suit parts and dead cheap.

I love that it's efficient, especially if you have leftover bits accumulating, and maintains the artwork of the Tau (homemade sometimes tends to look just that...)

Nuclear: Properly pronounced new-clear, not new-cue-lir. There is no 'u' between the c and l, so stop saying it because it just makes you sound like a dumbass. This includes nucleolus, and all other derivatives of the word.

I always tend to save bits if they look interesting and are not damaged...you never know when you might be able to use them!

That's really cool! Do you think it would look ok if I swapped some of the Tau stuff out to make it look more Imperium-like?

Looks great! Big fan of the towers, but the other stuff is fun too! Biggest advantage to buying NOS is the extra bits!

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

This is a great tutorial, and I am sure it's going to be very helpful for most tau players. Finally a use for all those pointless gun drones. My commander thanks you for the new shield drones he has recieved.

I think that the devilfish doors make great heavy drone hulls. (Though its not usually an extra bit)

Your sensor towers look great! Now I have another project to do in between my painting burnouts, terrain burnouts, and ork conversion burnouts.

I have a lot of projects that are 90% finished. This is one I can make 3 or 4 of and paint later, and still be happy with them. Thanks for sharing.

Well done tutorial. I'm not into Tau but I definitely enjoyed reading it anyway - it was that good.
