Gorgon Studios Launches
Gorgon Studios, a cabal of veteran hobbyist, game designers/writers and miniatures painter, is proud to officially launch its website ( http://www.gorgon-studios.com) and announce its partnership with world-renown miniatures sculptor, Steve Saleh.
‘Temperance’
Gorgon is happy to make its first Collector’s range model available. We are proud to introduce “Temperance”, a 40mm post-Apocalyptic she-devil. Sculpted by Steve Saleh, this multi-part figure heralds Gorgon’s eclectic Collector’s range. Walking directly from the blighted and nightmarish wastelands of the dark future, Temperance makes a formidable addition for the collector, painter or wargamer.
‘At the Hot Gates’
Over the next few months, Gorgon Miniatures plans to release its first two ranges of 28mm historical miniatures. First off, will be the re-release of Steve Saleh's excellent range of early Spartans, as a forerunner to a comprehensive treatment of the Classical era. Keep checking the website for availability, updates and previews of forthcoming figures.
Concurrently, Gorgon Publishing is working on both miniatures rules and some exciting RPG material. Stay tuned! The next few months will see lots of surprises. Again, all details of our products will be announced first on our website. Keep checking for updates.

*shrug* It's an interesting take on John Blanhe-style techno-punk, but at 40mm, I won't be buying, sorry.
The other stuff might be good, but there's no pictures on their website.
You only get one chance to make a good first impression...

Awfully strange anatomy there. Not very impressive for 40mm.

More companies more minis always a good thing in my book... Not a fan of the line scale and quality so far though.

I hope they will do more sci fi stuff later on as well, the Blanche vibe would be cool, but at 28mm and done well!

Weird scale.
Saleh as the in-house sculptor.
Not looking too good.
At least this mini will make some Slannesh CSM players happy (daemon princess, and all that).

Not overly fussed by the Blanchesque figure except as a proof of sculpting quality.
Cast smart Gorgon Minitures, seperate heads are your friend. Good luck, I look forward to seeing more of your stuff.
BTW: Nobody's doing Space Spartans right now, I think I see a gap in the market... Spartan Guardsmen.

I like it. I will echo the 40mm sentiments as that does limit the use of such a model but if you can produce more sci-fi stuff like that but at 28mm scale I'd be happy.

PUH-LEEEESSE!
This is what is classed as a miniature? Given that it is 40mm scale, I am struggling to see fine detail (is that bubblegum hair- where is the definition?)
Poor proportions and not a great pose.
I like the weaponry- nice and original, but otherwise, this leaves me cold.
Not a good first impression at all.
I feel sad by this.
cheers

I'm only writing this so that if the company should ever stumble upon this site and this thread, the weight of opinion may get them to change things while they still can.
Drop the 40mm scale.....for the most part its useless, and if you are going to insist on producing 40mm scale models, then fire the one armed bandit you currently have sculpting for you and invest in a decent artist.
Don't get me wrong, I couldn't do anything half a "good" as this, but looking at the competition, especially coming out of Spain right now, damn you need to hit the floor running.
Back to the Bat cave me thinks!

I like the weapon arm, but the rest is underwhelming. 40mm makes no sense.
