I frequently buy from TheWarStore.com They have 20% off retail all the time.
I saw that HBMC mentioned that he gets his stuff from the UK at 30% off, but he failed to supply a link.
So who do you get your stuff from?

Here is the one HBMC talks about:
http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=cat&cre=min-40k
They're from the UK, but it's free shipping, and at the current exchange rate, its about 28% off GW prices.
If you want an US distributor:
http://66.216.78.191/SearchResults.asp?Search=40k&Search.x=0&Search.y=0
25% off, and free shipping if over $125.
These are the best sites I've found.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

Failed to provide a link??? I've only been posting links to Maelstrom Games UK in almost every thread this subject has come up in. But I agree with Cheese, it is always cheaper to order directly from GW.

Well http://www.giftsforgeeks.org.uk/ is cheaper and that is where I get my stuff. However you do have to pay postage (~£5 for Courier).

THEY NEED TO BE BIGGER AND MORE PINK! As for Wargames EmpireOur shipping rates are set according to the the weight in your shopping basket and Royal Mail's postage charges, this is the fairest way to do it in our mind. It allows the automatic combining of shipping and makes it cheaper for you. The prices quoted also includes the packaging costs. For the UK market you will never pay anymore than £6.95, no matter how big your order is. And for Europe and the rest of the world, our prices for delivery will fall very soon!!!! But for now, europe is capped at £25 and for the Rest of the world is capped at £35. So it will never cost more than these prices no matter what you order!!
£0 Shipping Worldwide Vs £7-£35... Maelstrom wins methinks.

I order things from Wargamesempire.com over here in Romania. Even with paying shipping, it is cheaper for me to order from there than maelstrom.
For my last order, I bought a Plastic Glue, an Assault on Black Reach, a space marine battleforce, a plastic commander and devastators.
At Wargamesempire: 102.65 GBP including the 15.00 GBP shipping.
At Maelstromgames: 109.37 GBP including 0 GBP shipping
In total I saved 6.72 GBP by ordering from Wargamesempire compared to Maelstrom. The 15.00 Pound shipping was also only due to the weight, where smaller boxes use Royal Mail and are much cheaper.
The previous order I made was a paint order, and in it they put in 2 Boltgun Metals and 1 Devlon mud, instead of the opposite. I called them up and that day another Devlon Mud was on the way. A great example of amazing service.
The other thing that wargamesempire.com does is that they make most of the non-new release blisters be free of shipping. If you're just picking up that single character, you can save a ton over all the other sites.
Also, if you are from the UK or mainland europe, the shipping will be cheaper than what I pay in the wasteland of Eastern Europe. Every time I make an order, I compare the prices with shipping between Wayland games, Wargamesempire and Maelstrom. I have ordered from all 3 and feel the they have comparable shipping times, communication and overall service. The best price almost always comes from Wargamesempire, and it has become my "shop" of choice.

I have used them before, and they did deliver. Ring them up and ask what the deal is.

This is what I use living in the US:
For Out of Print stuff: Chaos Orc ( http://www.chaosorc.com ) or ebay
For bigger orders mixed with direct only: Chaos Mail Order ( http://www.chaosmailorder.com/ ) as they discount Direct Only/ SG 10%
For bigger orders mixed with non- GW: Warstore
For bits: ApocaBitzNow ( http://www.ApocaBitzNow.com ) then ebay or Warstore
I just started trying UK stores, so far the experience is not as good as I get through second hand sellers on ebay UK or Amazon UK but I am willing to allow these attempts as flukes and will try it again.

I put in a direct order about 6 months ago and that hasn't showed up. One of these days my BFG fleet will arrive. Or not.

The reason to buy from UK stores is that they offer a discount on GW's prices. That's nice, right? Well, the current exchange rate actually favors the old USD, so places like maelstromgames.co.uk (somebody should really link it, it's almost as hard to find as industrial towers and/or space corridors) that offer free shipping give us great deals.

Lord of Change is £31.50, XE.com converts that to $49.92
A savings of a whole 8 cents :/

On wargamesempire.com the Lord of Change is 25.20 Pounds or $39.75. Using shipping to my address in the United States and standard shipping, the model comes to 27.10 Pounds or 42 dollars. 7 dollars off is not bad for having to wait a few days (as you would with any online retailer) I know everyone loves to pimp Maelstrom, but their prices are crap compared to the other online retailers from the UK. The shipping is nice, but the shipping seems incorporated into the prices. While it might be a steal for say, Australia, for the UK, US and Mainland Europe, it doesn't make much sense. The bottom line is to just price check. You're spending alot of money on miniatures, why not see how each site stacks up. Sometimes Maelstrom is the best (I know I've ordered many small boxes and the sort from them, because it was cheaper), but I've also found that both in the States and in Romania (VERY different shipping situations) that other sites offer better prices.

Hey
Personally I have used https://www.littlemetalmen.co.uk/ and found them to be excellent - max £2.95 postage in the UK with good discounts. The savings really start to stack up as your order grows compared to the sites which charge delivery by weight.

I've been using miniatures by post here in the UK http://www.miniaturesbypost.com/ who do a standard 25% discount off UK retail. UK supply only and you have to pay postage by weight - up to a maximum of £9.85, but it works for me and is quite a lot cheaper than Maelstrom for large orders.
Not sure how much longer this is going to last though with the GW sliding discount scale thingimmy

I live in Korea (the other side of the globe from UK), and have to suffer some really painful shipping costs from almost every online retailer.
So Maelstrom's "free shipping worldwide" policy is a godsend for me

I personally use Bitz Box.
Great Prices and the Shipping is very reasonable, with free shipping for large orders.
I hear Neil at The Warstore does bitz as well, but I've not checked.
