What if the Emperor were entombed in a dreadnought or something? Integrate the golden throne into a Supah Dreadnought or something lol, or maybe even a Titan. What do you people think?

I think that he would be a perfect target for everyone on the battlefield... eventually he would die and then mankind would be doomed because all the Space Marines would be without battlecries.

The emperor died the night he and Horus had their epic battle. It's Horus on the throne, so I'd rather he were entombed in a dreadnaught and killed.

hm, i hadnt thought that he would be targeted by everyone lol, he would make a perfect target for my Tau and Eldar > without him in the way the imperium would be no threat

that or they would hunt down whoever killed him and probably exterminate the entire species :(

They don't have that kind of power now, what makes you think they will be able to after they lose relatively safe warp travel?

No, just the rampaging daemons and Chaos machinations that would appear because the thing that is keeping them out of the mortal universe, the emperor, is now dead.

I don't think it would be a good idea, some SM special characters are overpowered to begin with. I don't think putting a 15 front, 15 side and 15 rear armour golden Dreadnough, litterally covered in eagles, that could use that exterminartus (I don't know, is that what they call it when they destroy the planet) as a special rule would be appreciated much. Hell just give him the special rule "THE EMPARAH" and SPASE MARIENZ HUUURR!

THE EMPARAH: If you use the emperor all space marines gain 5 to all their stats (where that would be a benefit) and improve their save to 2+ for power armour, 1+ for any other armour (scout becomes 2+) and they gain a 2+ invulnerable save. In addition they all gain the special rule "HUUURRR!"

HUUURRR!: all space marines gain the rule fleet and add 6 to their running role. In addition they get 2D6 attacks in close combat. They also get the ability "FEEL NO PAIN, HUURR! which works the same way the rule Feel No Pain works, except it also works in all instances Feel No Pain would not and works on a 2+ instead. In addition to this they may chose to drop their guns on the ground to improve close comabt, if they do this they gain 4D6 attacks instead of the 2D6. This may be done at any time during game play.

SPASE MARIENZ HUUURR!: All drop pods are allowed to land on enemy units and terrain, if they do it counts as a single strength 12 attack that ignores all saves of any kind. In addition the player may choose to yell "BUT I WINZ CAUSZ I HAS THE SPASE MARIENZ HUUURRR!" at any time in the game, if they do this they automatically win the game and get to chose a model from the opponents army to "accidentally" stomp on. This can be treated as an order to destroy the planet if the Space Marines are losing to represent this knock the game table over and run out of the current building you were playing in, or 12' away if somehow outside. Perform a leadership test before this to the leadership value of 6, if you succeed you do the above while shouting explicits about the other army cheating. If you fail the above is done while crying and yelling explicits at any nearby people. Then throwing your most valuable in a random direction (as determined by a scatter die), you may attempt to save this model by rolling a D6 on a 4,5 or 6 the model is directed at a nearby wall instead, this model cannot perform any additional saves of any type and this save is not allowed to be rerolled. If this model approaches a non-Imperial army you may yell "4 THE EMPARAH" which will increase the model's chance of survival somehow.

If you can make a cool conversion, that would be neat.

You could do it so that the emperor himself wasn't actually inside it but like telpathically controlling it. you could make it like a shinny gold dreadnaught, as previously stated, with strange weapons, but give the same rules as a warhound for fire power moving etc. this way it is a "counts as" model, with cool fluff.

Just my thought on the subject.

Yes emperor would be pskr. Remote dread as golden throne can't be trasplanted and he can't disconnected for a second. Even using stasis field would interupt psychic beacon.

Well, yes and no. I would think that the Emperor-naught would have stats something like this:

Armour 14 all round.
WS 0, BS 0, S 0, I 0, A 0

Weapons: none. The Dreadnought chassis into which the Emperor has been transferred needs all of its available power to drag behind it the life support systems for the Golden Throne (which formerly occupied most of one wing of the Imperial Palace).

Special Abilities:
Psyker.
The Emperor-naught has the 'Astronomican' psychic power, and is constantly broadcasting a homing signal across the galaxy for Imperial Navigators to find their way. Any Imperial Navy ships in your army may add +1 to their Reserves rolls.

Coma.
The Emperor has been in a coma for the last few centuries. The Emperor-naught may not move, attack, or otherwise take part in the battle at all, except to serve as a large, obvious target for your opponent's forces.

End of the galaxy as we know it.
If the Emperor-naught is destroyed, the Astronomican is extinguished and the Emperor's soul is cast adrift in the warp. You immediately lose the game, as does every other Imperial player as the forces of Chaos stream unchecked into our galaxy and bring death, pestilence and insanity to the remnants of humanity.

Or, the emperor goes into the Warp, and kicks serious butt in there. Then he comes out and curb stomps everyone who made his rusty butt sit on that throne for 11 millenia.

I say just keep the Emperor on the Golden throne, because the Imperium totally need him. Even so, he can be reborn if we can find the Starchild and then the emperor will lead us once more. Couple other things are: he beams the Astronomican, keeps daemons out of the material world, and generally keeps up everyone's moral and happiness. Putting the Emperor in a dreadnought or even a titan would be f**king slowed. I don't think anyone is willing to take that risk anyway, even the Emperor himself.
