Hey all,
just recently getting an IG codex (hurah! ) I'm stuck with the option of a few things such as:

Option:
1. Build an army due to fluff and cool models
2. Build a list due to tactic advantage (PBS, Hydra etc)

*preferable going with a fluff army*

Now I'm still stuck with the which regiment too collect, i have a few ideas but input would be great.

ideas:

1. A very similar Regiment tied towards the British SAS (ww2 uniform). fluff would be along the lines of a deserted planet with wars fought with gorilla warfare (example. Veterans, outflank, small numbers but hard hitting, deep strike, few tanks). the colour scheme would be carapace armour a yellow/brown and the cloth being yellow desert style with red helmets with the occasional Barret. the colour scheme wouldn't have much contrast but is to represent camouflage.
2. A combined Regiment of infantry and armoured units (so mixed infantry platoons supported with chimera's, leman russes and scout vehicles. colour scheme would be probably cadia.

any more ideas would be open and thanks for viewing.

my friend made a British ww2 themed army. he ordered these metal heads from a world war 2 wargaming miniature company and each one had a beret.

looked awesome

P.M. me for rational Eldar Advice, both on list construction or Tactics.

Also feel free to query me about rules from the Eldar and Space Marine codices, as well as the General Rule book.

Mech Eldar army of the Craftworld Din Cassian currently at 17-6-7.

The Cat in my Avatar is my Cat. He's called Taz and he's just over ten months old.

I'd start a themed army, fluffy and competitive.
Should be possible with the new IG codex.
