Ok. I'm working on this Inquisitor Lord for my partially hypothetical Witch Hunters army and am looking for feedback.

And yes, I know that they are pointsinks, and it's just not worth making a close-combat Inquisitor Lord, but I'm doing it anyways...

I'm basically making up for the fact that he's not very great by making him look like he'll kick as- *ahemm*, butt; psychological warfare and all that. He is carrying an eviscerator and his left hand is empty if anyone is wondering. If anyone has sugestions/feedback, complimentry or otherwise, please post it...

Oh yeah, and he'll be on a clear base for the effect of floating.

Well, if you are going for a CC squad, I would add a priest in there also. It's looking pretty good actually, as for the other hand, put a CSM's head with gore hanging from it. Kinda sick, but it would look awesome and its definetially good "psychological warfare"

So would I, but I'm not allowed to include Priests with the squad unfortunately...

Thats a nice looking conversion and the green stuff work seems great, although it is a little difficult to judge in these pictures. Do you have any closer up? I like the wings too, nice touch but what will they represent?

puny str 3 and all that. I tried setting him up with an eviscerator, but it looked very un-good. Thanks =)

Gundam-Mecha: Thanks, and I'm sorry, but my camera is absolute crap as the auto focus doesn't focus on the models for some reason.
The closer up ones were all fuzzy blobs, but be assured I'm attempting to rectify this problem. The wings don't actually
represent anything specific at all, they're just supposed to look cool. I'm kinda doing the Angel of Death look for him.

Evidently my last post was a lie on the picture front. More pics tonight! No, really this time!

Ok, here's a new image of my inquisitor, I'm mostly finished the coat, have added on these flappy, ribbony things that serve no purpose at all, worked a bit on the hat, and gave him toes...

Oh yeah, sorry about the single image but my camera is awful, and this is the only one that isn't a fuzzy blob of unreconizability.

Are those flappy/ribbony things purity seals? They look greats... how'd you model them?

I'm not sure, what they'll end up being, but i was really pleased with the way they look flappy. Little strip of half-dry green stuff, crimped it up, then supper glued it in place so it didn't fall off... worked out pretty well IMHO...

Looks great but i never seen any witch hunters in battle. Anyway do the wings do anything or just there for show?

Good news,

At last, I have managed to get the camera working again and take some pics. The Inquisitor Lord is nearing completion in the sculpting side of things, though his face and some of his armour still needs some work.

He turned out a bit larger than I originally planned, but I'm still quite pleased with how he's coming.

As the model is now complete (YAY!), I've started the paint job.

The end result should have an Alucard-look to it. For anyone who doesn't know who he is (He's a vampire, Blade sorta dude with a very big pistol), Grey/Black armour, Blood Red robes, White gauntlets and trim. Oh yeah, and White wings fading to gold at the tips.

Cool.

The shoulder pads look terribly out of place. They are a bit to big on him for my taste... The model itself looks good though.

This looks really kewl. It deserves some better pics though.

As in Gabriel Van Helsing? Maybe his pre-movie self(read the book or wikipedia[like me] if you don't get it).

Nice sculpt. Did you have to dry the green stuff for the ribbons, or could you just work it as it dried into that shape?

The only thing I don't like (and it's not even part of the actual model) is the clear base. I can see it... and it kind of messes with the rest of the model IMHO. Of course I have never thought clear bases work for anything besides skimmers, not even bikes look good on them. It is not really necessary but you may want to make a custom base using wire and green stuff to connect him by more ribbons, or perhaps a long parchment. The parchment could look really cool actually, and you seem to have a good hand at making cloth-like material out of green stuff. Just remember to score the edges of the parchment so it looks worn.

I've started experimenting with colour schemes for the InqLord and have finished his hat and face. Also I thought I'd post some pics of some other stuff I've done up for my Inquisition.

Just to note, Karamazov WON'T be part of my army, I just like the model.

The tank is my Inqlord's personal transport and it's nearly done.

The assasin is just for the sake of large fire arms.
