Ok, so I have a whole bunch of the slaanesh guitar sonic blaster marines, and I've been kinda wanting to do some sort of Emperor's Children army with them. I have 12, not really enough for all the noise marines in my army, and I don't really want to mix and match them with the newer style sonic blasters, which are ugly as sin, and I don't want to have my opponent confused with two different models representing the same weapon.

The noise marines have very understated chaos armor as well, so I was thinking I could maybe use them as "heresy" era marines and use some regular looking space marines to fill in the other troops and what not, and just call them heavy bolters, or storm bolters or something. Then I thought I could use them as "Sternguard" (using the marine codex) if I wanted, and use Pedro Kantor as Eidolon so they could score, and then fill in the rest with just regular tac marines as emperor's children chumps.

I just can't really decide what to do and what style to play them as, and I kinda want to stay away from the ol' Chaos codex, although a fully Slaanesh Emperor's Children army would be pretty neat, even if it did include lash.

Basically, give me some ideas to get my brain going Dakka!

So you want marines running around the field with guitars. To each their own I suppose. I prefer weapons that look like weapons.

A fully-slaanesh Emperor's Children army is fun. It's very very low model count, so requires a good deal of skill to make work.
