I think that eldar should get an additional rule where they get an extra 300 pts to add to their army when facing an opponent also they should get to choose this after seeing your opponents list's. The eldar farseer's have seen the future and can see their need more military forces

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more. |

Yes. They should.
Because In a 500 point game, 500 against 800 is VERY FAIR.

Only if imperial guard can call in artillery bombardments for free, Chaos can summon a squad of daemons once per turn anywhere on the field, tyranids get 100 free gaunts, orks get 100 free boyz, and inquisition can, instead of taking an army, just choose to exterminatus, immediately winning the game. Seriously, this is the stupidest idea i've ever heard, and I live in a red state. Yes. They should. Because In a 500 point game, 500 against 800 is VERY FAIR. Hell, 1500 vs 1800 isn't even fair. Maybe in Apoc Games of more than 100,000 points, this would be acceptable.

You forgot.
If eldar get that, All the space marines become movie Marines at the point cost of regular Marines. And Space marines can take all of their special characters. For free.

Indeed.
Oh! and Tau can deep strike any unit in their army, without scattering, on whatever turn they want. And crisis suits become troop choices (becuase there's fire warriors in them and fire warriors are troops choices)

Actually, for Tyranids, the Bio titan replaces gaunts. For the same points.

Haha and why not while we are at it let Imperial guard take an unlimted amount of Officers of the fleet so that none of your eldar make it to the fight to begin with

I could see this, but only if it reqires the Farseer to be in the army, and this power costs 350pts.

2500 1000
Mechanicum Fleet 2000 1000
2000? (Almost all 2nd ed.)
I think that about covers it. For now. |

a MUCH more elegant solution is to simply give them a, maybe, 50 points power that lets them deploy second no matter what, and even that is a little overpowered.

Ok all rofl aside...
what if eldar armies containing 2 Farseers (eldrad may not be one of them) constructed lists with 300 LESS points I.E. 1500 points becomes 1200. Then after seeing the opponents army list he could choose how to spend the remaining 300 points?

At least that's something more reasonable.
I can see using that in a campain, particularly a naritive game, but for turny or pick up game rules, well, theres to many reasons for most armies to actualy know what they're fighting for the eldar to be the only ones with a special rule to that effect.
