I imagine people are tired of the nob bikers, battlewagon spam, and horde lists of orks. So I came up with something a bit different, that I wanted to run by you guys before I dig the models out of semi retirement.
HQ: Mega armored Warboss, with cybork body and boss pole
Big Mek With KFF burna and boss pole.
Elite: 5 Mega nobz w/ 2 combi skorchas in a battle wagon with 4 big shootas (counts as troops)
10 burna boyz
Troops: 19 gretchin with herder
19 gretchin with herder
Fast: 20 stormboyz w/nob w/ powerklaw and BP
20 Stormboyz w/nob w/ powerklaw and BP
8 Warbikers w/nob w/ powerklaw and BP
Heavy: Battlewagon with 4x big shoota
The Mega warboss rides with the meganobz, in the battlewagon. The gretchin sit around on an objective hoping to stay alive. Big mek and the burnas get in the Heavy support Battlewagon, everything stays close enough to the big mek wagon to get cover. The bikers get their own cover, so can do whatever I want with them. Hopefully the whole army will hit at once, giving the opponent some difficult choices on what to shoot.
I think I have most of my bases covered, I have a decent amount of horde killing power with the dakka and flamers, and my mobile Powerklaw count is probably good enough to threaten most tank armies. The burnaboyz can shred armor in CC, or can drop so many templates its not even funny. I have a cover save with pretty much all of the units, while it lasts, so I should survive long enough to reach the enemy lines.
Of course This list has some problems, like if the mek wagon blows up too soon, or I have to try and march my gretchin foward. But I think it is a fun and interesting take on them without brining the cheese.

I think this army is going to have issue with being rather small in numbers when you put your warboss and meganobz in one battlewagon BM with burnas in the other and keep them together it's gonna probably end up bad. The enemy would have 2-4 main targets (depends on how you're going to split your forces when you advance) and I see this is supposed to be a 2k army. SM or CSM would take vindicators and believe me they will make you feel it. To packed up. and the gretchin everybody would leave for one shooting phase or for a dessert when the rest is dead.

Well first off this list is only 1750. Second off I don't see very many vindicators taken. Choas spends its slots on obliterators, and SM buys preds and a land raiders. Now guard does actually use large blasts, but orks don't really beat them anyways, so its almost a non issue. I also don't split the army up, other than the gretchen hiding on an objective. Gretchen aren't that easy to kill btw, they are going to most likely get cover, and if you shoot them they go to ground for the 3+ cover save. Killing 40 models in 1 turn with a 3+ save AFTER you have taken some losses is really difficult. Lastly although it seems like I don't have much, the model count is still 107, and only 17 are riding in transports. Killing AV 14 with a cover save isn't that easy at range, and if they are close then they did their job.

I see your point. Well I guess we won't know until we see it so when you try it out be sure to post info on how it went.

I see a couple small issues with this list mainly the mega nobs at 40 points a piece minus war gear they are alot of points to loose especially should you assault a SM player who gave his sergent a PW he strikes before you and has a chance to take out one of your Mega nobs before he swings. And Gork and Mork forbbid that they get into combat with an elite CC unit with more than one PW say veterans with LC's or something equivalent will wipe your nobs before they ever got the chance to do anything.
I do like the massed storm boys, you don't see people do that much anymore and they are massively underated.
Also for the points you spent on the mega nobz you could have gotten 10 normal nobz with 2 PK's 7 big choppas a Painboy, 'eavy armor, cybork, Waagh! banner, and a BP all in a trukk. and if my math serves you still have some points left over so you could switch it to a BW should you want to.
The rest seems pretty solid to me, just keep in mind you will be presenting very few targets for your opponents, so the chance of getting shot out of your vehicles is pretty high, although should you get the first turn it won't matter much anyways.

a94marbo: I believe its change a slugga for a KFF, a choppa for a burna. At least that is what AB is telling me. I have my codex in my trunk, and I'm too lazy.
Zhetsuken: The mega nobs are for tank assault, nothing opens a tank faster than lascannons strapped to charging orks fists. A PW seargent will kill 1 ork, then his squad dies. I've had my Mega nobs take out much more than their points of nob bikers, trust me, they are effective vs some elite stuff as well. An all PW squad will give them trouble, as will a CC MC with lots of attacks. But they better not leave any living to swing back. The mega nobs are usually so effective at killing, they have to endure a round of small arms fire before they get to do anything. They will die, but hopefully they will use more important shooting at that unit, and not the horde of stormboyz and burnas.
Also you got the points WAY off for regular nobs with 2 PK 7 big choppas a painboy, eavy armor, cybork Waagh banner and a BP in a truck. That unit costs 480 points, and has much less PK attacks, and is in a crappy AV 10 vehicle. The mega nob unit costs 320 points, has more PK attacks, and is riding a AV 14 vehicle. Mega nobs don't have options to speak of, they have crappy 5 point combi weapon uprades and that is it. 40 points for a 2 wound 2+ save guy with a powerfist is a bargain. 4 attacks on the charge with S9 is really good for an entire squad to have.
