KFF or Shock Attack?
Please post pros and cons of each and your overall winner

Am I right in saying the KFF is the obvious choice for a giant footsloggin swarm?
Also, is the SAG more anti tank with its AP2 or anti infantry with the large blast?

The land of cotton.

Asking this question is like saying "What's the best race car?". The answer is "It depends on what you want to do".

The KFF Big Mek is way more versatile, and will suit a foot slogger army just as well as a vehicle heavy army.

The SAG Big Mek is really a static choice and is best as an additional HQ choice. He's a REMF that will sit back on top of one of your objectives (preferably with a squad of Grots or Big Gunz) and harass the enemy from a distance. Don't make the mistake of thinking the SAG is anti-tank; it's an Infantry killer. That AP2 template will deal Deep Striking Termies and TMC a nice surprise and hits fairly often thanks to the new template rules.

I personally run both. The KFF backs up a couple squads of Killa Kans and Dred that march right up the middle of the board, and the SAG mek sits back, holds the home field objective and lobs shots at scary stuff.

if i had to take a mek (i always do) the KFF mek ibeats out the SAG as the first mek in my army all the time. the 5+ cover is simply a staple in my horde style list.
