i was looking through both the fantasy and 40k ranges and couldn't find this guy. he resembles belkor (spelling?) who is now in the collector's range but i can't find this model that was previewed so many months ago. i hope i'm wrong and just having a brain fart causing me to miss his entry on the GW homepage. i think he'd make a cool greater generic daemon for chaos space marines.

Looks like a fantasy demon to me and as far as i know its not been released.

I heard something about christmas time around... i dont know exactly when. After September but before next year is the best i can recall, so a reasonable guess would be December but we'll see.

Do they have any kind of price point for it? Or is it going to cost more than the metal one because of all the 'bitz'?

It'll probably be about $50, same reason why the goldswords cost so much.

goldsword? i'm guessing you mean greatswords?? they cost $50 for a plastic kit? call me an old fogey but i remember the days when the plastic regiment/unit boxes all cost the same even if they had different # of guys in them...

Anyway, looks like a nice enough model to pick one up if they ever release them.

Damn that sucks. I'd buy it just to put it together and paint it, but not for 50+ dollars.

It was in the Warriors of Chaos book. Unfortunately, DPs are pretty lame in that book. Chaos Lords are much, much better at hitting things and Sorcerers are better at casting spells.

only time to use a DP in the WoC book; get irresistible force and thus pray for roll of an 11 or 12 or:
ive lots of sucess with a lvl 4, unmarked, take fire, hope for flaming sword of rhuin then hes a nasty CC character,

but for cheaper the chaos lord wins out... by far unfortunately ive gotten rid of my daemon prince for a lord on dragon
