Just wondering because my buddy and I had a lively debate on this.
When a Slaanesh lord has the helm of Everlasting conquest (or whatever it's called) that grants regenerate, and also that nifty little pendent of slaanesh giving +1 attack for each wound lost in the battle. does this apply to wounds that are regenerated or not???

I would say yes it does, as the whole concept is the model becomes invigorated by the pain to gain more attacks.

my buddy has a different oppinion, probably formed around the idea of a 8+ attack moster coming after him...

Regeneration is just like an extra ward save so if you pass it you never actually take the wound....sorry.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)

Yeah, just convince your buddy to play the 6th ed. rules where regeneration was after the fact and you are golden!

But in the land of 7th, nope, you are not actually taking the wounds.

nope, because you do not lose a wound when it is regenerated. If you fail your regen, THEN may you claim the bonus for the attacks.

8+ attacks is an attempt to gain cheeseiness.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

You could, however, take a sorceror (or sorceror lord) with the Lore of Death. With Steal Soul, you could regain wounds.

Hum, thanks for pointing that out. I let my buddy know that he was right (grrrr) but I'll pull this on him first chance I get...
