I picked up a couple Hummels last night at the FLGS and looked vainly for a Observer Panzer model, never saw one.

Is this a real sku or shuld I grab a regular Panzer III of the appropriate time frame and go from there?

Observers are the same Battlefront model as the normal tank. In WW2 the guns were put on them (but were non functional) so that they would not be singled out as observers and destroyed. Markings would be different though so bare that in mind when painting.

Thanks. I'll pop into the FLGS and pick up a shiny, new Panzer III now!

There's a conversion guide for the Panzer III OP on the Battlefront website.
