Iv'e just intherited a piece of terrain with a dead horse from LotR on it. Wev'e been using it, but I would like to properly 40K it up. Can anybody think of an army that uses horses? Or any excuse at all for having a dead horse on a 40K battlefield?

In a Society in which there is no law, and in theory no compulsion, the only arbiter of behaviour is public opinion. But public opinion, because of the tremendous urge to conformity in gregarious animals, is less tolerant than any system of law. When human beings are governed by "thou shalt not", the individual can practise a certain amount of eccentricity: when they are supposedly governed by "love" or "reason", he is under continuous pressure to make him behave and think in exactly the same way as everyone else.

Forever alone

Imperial Guard have Rough Riders, which are Guardsmen on horses.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
