So, who else out there is waiting for Space Wolves?

I'm not going to play them as 'Space Wolves'. I'm going to make a bad ass conversion CSM army with the codex. Can't wait to do my first P&M blog with that idea.

I'm going to use mine as bases and decorations for my Orks. I'm going to model the top half of an unfortunate Blood Claw in my Warboss' power klaw.

I'm just talking about the codex. I'm using CSM, Zerkers and Possessed to make my conversion wolves. Probably some fantasy bits too.

Well, I think Space Wolves would actually make better Blood Angels.

Lol, im a CSM player and i like SW they are just badasses. I got a ton of bikes/marines/dreads/termies not put together because im waiting for the codex too. I know its coming b/c in the recent white dwarf they stated in the news section everyone is busy with grey paint... And i doubt they are painting relictors. But... i just realized.. what if they are making non-metalic paint scheme to necrons! I'll be mad... :(

I'm just going to make sure they don't suck and are sufficiently broken to make a 40k army out of. But with rumors like an AV 14 all around Dread, I don't think I'll have to worry much.

I can't wait. I'm going to make a small force called,"Traitors on the Wolf of Fenris". It'll be great. I may even make a little diorama with holes for their bases. It'll have them turning around and shooting the crap outta the rest pf their furry comrades. Maybe give them all penants saying,"RUSS SUCKS! GO KAOS!".

man I love space wolves. Specifically their sprues soooo many power weapons, special weapons and powerfists. great deal!

I'm anxiously waiting to see what we'll lose from the last codex and what they give us to make up for it.

Currently the SW codex stinks. I am collecting data on all Imperial forces. (I still need Black Templars.)
Blood Claw Assault troops are terriable. They have WS3.(leaving out points 4 GW) They are more than Daemon Hunters and Blood Angels. Way more than Ultra SM.
I like the Generic Chaplain in the SM book. The SP Priests don't do as much as the ultramarines. I do not want to dust off my SW until the new codex. The Blood Claws can have larger units, at least I found a unit that can fill a LR crusader.

Not waiting for Space Wolves at all. 5th Ed needs not multi Space Marine codexes. What it does need is more variety. I can live without Dark Eldar, but Necrons soon please!

Sorry edit. SW priests. Rune Priest. I am really disapointed with the Wolf Priest. Ulrik the slayer can give 1 model +1WS ( oooh scarry).
The Blood Claw Assault troops are starting out on bikes, they can be changed to JP. The points stay the same. 30ea.

Were there Codex in 4th edition?If not ,I know why my SW codex has odd rules that are different from the codex SM.
How do we field our SW until the new codex is out. I want to put 16 assault figures in my LR Crusader. Can we bring wolves using old codex stats and pt cost?

If they aren't too ed out (yeah, fat chance) I might make my house/training/second army be SW's, but it just seems like most SW players, are, well, the kind of person who would wear a wolf shirt.

I am going to make a variant chapter just to make purists mad.

Variety and Necrons in the same sentence makes me laugh

although i agree they do need something, maybe GW should rip off the machines in T3 and T4
