The vibe of the miniatures is very much that of the old stuff from the 80's. I'm not so much into that too old school stuff, but I really like the Bog Raiders myself!

By the way...some greens from the upcoming Barbarians:

Sweet! Conan and also evil barbarians, fimir, and other enemies for Conan to fight! Now you just need buxom pirate warrioress, angry celt sidekick, buxom princess (to be saved) and crazy necromancer dude!

Conan in battle pose with helmet and armor would also be cool.

I like the snakes and the barbarian greens. The hands on conan look odd to me and the poses of the bog boys looks....awkward.

I do what the voices in my wifes head say...

Good stuff may have to get some for my Beastmen!

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

The barbarian looks like he's been mind-controlled or zombified or something...

The spider-guys remind me of one of the bad races from Star Control 2.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Why do those look so damn familier?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I had the same thought. Gym membership must be popular in this particular fantasy world.

"Bloodstorm! Ravenblade! Slayer of worlds! Felt the power throb in his weapon. He clutched it tightly in his hand and turned towards his foe letting it build in the twin energy spheres and then finally! RELEASE! The throbbing weapon ejaculated burning white fluid over them as Bloodstorm! Ravenblade! laughed manfully!" - From the epic novel, Bloodstorm! Ravenblade! Obliterates! the! Universe! coming in 2010 from the Black Library [Kid Kyoto]

Woot! Fimir! Or fomors?

The bogboys were called fimir in the first (or second) version of Warhammer. It was shame they got left out of later versions of the game.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus
