Well, it's not painted /filed/gap filled or anything, but I think it's coming along nicely. Looking for suggestions if anyone has.

And, if anyone is wondering, the wire to the big shoota is a bass guitar wire. The pistons are coffee stirrers and toothpicks. The claw is made of sheet styrene.

Wow! You made a totally fuggly kit work really, really well.

No suggestions here other than that you pint that puppy and call 'er good!

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

First off, great job with the kitbash. I would have never looked at the original and thought, "Ork dread"

Suggestions:

1. Rip off that glyph plate below the eye slit and make a propa gob out of some plasticard. That would increase the orkiness by about 34%!
2. Add a few more armor plates around the torso, and if possible, at the shoulder joints.

Please post pics when you get some paint on him.

Also armorcast. They were an optional accessory kit which they either don't sell anymore or I can't find.

Looking great! Only thing that's nagging me is that the Power Klaw feels like it's upside down.

Can't wait to see it painted up all propa.

What bit is the scrap with skulls on hooks from?

I think you need more orky bitz! Some missmatched armor plates, grot riggers, guns and skullz!

Great work though man

I THINK the skulls are an accessory bit from the nobz box set.

I really like this man. The hydrolics are very clever. Ill prolly take that idea from you. Good job!

Hay Dakka,

First off, I wanted to say thank you to everyone. This has been a really awesome community, generous with help and advice and I really appreciate it.

I finally had some time off without anything else pending so I took some time to fix it up a little. I took the advice on bulking up the shoulders, adding a gob, and I also decided to widen the arms and redo the bosspole, which just wasn't boss enough. Here are the "improvements".

Bits: The horns on the bosspole are bits of sprue i warmed with a lighter and then pulled into points. The poll itself is a battlewagon periscope. The heads I've got in bits lots off ebay, so I don't know 100% where they all come from, except the "skulls on hooks" someone asked about that he's using as a loincloth - they are an ork nob accessory.

I'm finally going to prime it today! I'll post painted pics in around 2 or 3 weeks most likely, schools got me kinda busy. Thanks again for the advice and encouragement.

Yeah dude, that's more like it! The extra bulk from the bosspole and armor plates are perfect, and the gob looks ace. Definitely post more WIPs as you get some paint on it. Job's a gud 'un
