The goal: Quick attack on turn 2 with 3 trukks and one BW filled - total of 56 boys, 4 nobs with PKs, and a Warboss
DeffKoptaz for tank hunting (hopefully) and Snikrot with his commandos taking stuff out on the back line.

With the points you save by reducing the bw boys to 20 buy a deffrolla for the wagon

you might want to use nobs in a trukk. So to use warboss' special rule and have a strong unit.

Don't know about the kommandos however I never managed to get them stuck in correctly. Always took out less then they were worth unless they were in small suicide groups. Get in, destroy what you can and die. But maybe it's because I was always a bit sceptic about them and never tested them in a solid way.

I would dump the Deff Koptas and the Kommandos and go with Nobz Bikers with a Painboy. You will find that this unit will survive much longer can make back their points back. Plus the truck boyz will be able to keep up with the nobz to support them or the nobz will draw fire which will allow your trukks to get across the board.

So if I drop the koptaz and kommandos that will give me 305 points. 45 points per nob biker - that would give me only 5 nob bikers with 2 PK. Does not seem like a good trade for a 1250 point game. Kommandos are there for shooty armies (IG, Tau) since I can come in on any border due to snikrot. Plus some (crappy) anti-tank.

Look at what you get with Nob Bikers: PK on the charge S 9, Big Choppa S 7. Toughness of 5. S 7 ranges assault weapons. Great Saves 4+ from bike 4+ cover save always, 3+ if turbo boost, FNP if they take Painboy and could have a 5+ Inv from Cybork Bodies from Painboy for 5 points per model.

Kommandos 6+ Outflank and a couple of rocket launchers. If IG take a psy squad then your reserve roll could be delayed because of the +1 or +2 depending on how many members they chose.

Nobz Bikers I never leave home without them.

However, looking at your list it looks fine. It has the speed to get into someone's face quickly and some armor. I would put the the battlewagon in between all the trucks with the warboss up front of the BW, two truck flanking each side of the BW and another ready to lend support. Keep them all within 6" of the BW so they get the KFF save.

The only thing I see that is a neg is that if you do not get first turn against an uber IG anti-armor list a majority of your forces will be walking after the first turn. Number is what gets Orks their kudos. I normally would run the following:

While this might seem like a slow list the enemy will be going for the warboss and the nobs giving your troops a chance to run forward. The KKs are a distraction for a screen.

You could ditch the KKs and run a Big Mek with a KFF and a choppa for 85 which will give most of your boyz a 5+ save. 90 boyz on the board will scare anyone at 1250.

Thanks for the response! The only problem I see with that list is with IG's pie plates. Most players I see will have at least 3 different pie plates per turn at 1250 points.

I know statistically I will lose around 2-3 trukks, but the troops will likely survive while the other(s) can hit them hard. For higher point games I will use Nob bikers but they are way too expensive for a lower point game.
Keep the suggestions coming. This is helping a lot!
