...another Brit is kicked out of Wimbledon. Thank God -- that was a farce. Roddick deserved it a million times more than Murray.
It's about time that arrogant brat was slapped down again, for another year, competing for the most coveted trophy in Tennis. The thing about having a Brit in the competition is the whole excitement -- a load of bollocks. Yes, we can row and we can cycle, but we can't play tennis. Henman was gak, Murray's past the amazement stage if you ask me. I also hate how the crowd stands up and shouts, heckles, and screams for Murray -- this never used to happen in tennis. Call me prude, but that's not English Tennis.
And he's not even English. I can't wait until Hollyrood gets independence and calls Murray a SCOT, as opposed to our sheepish new practice of calling him a BRIT, when we used to rave and rant about how Henman was ENGLISH.

- American Pastoral, Philip Roth
Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.
whatwhat wrote:Wow, what a load of miserable bs that was. I'm going to have to find something amazing to read now just to balance out that kick in the head.
cheers
My pleasure. My posts don't have a "Will make happy!" guarantee, you know. That was just the orgasmical climax of a long time of being kicked in the head by England.
