As i am to start work on my Zorks (zombie orks) next weekend i just thought i'd test the waters and see how many dakkites would be interesting in a P&M blog for the army? The hq slots would be taken up by Da Big Nekromanca himself (counts as big mek) and a huge Frankenstein's monsteresque creation of Da Big Nek's, Da Frankenboss. Along with this will 90 Zombie orks, each led by a zombie nob being controlled by a nekromanca on its back (nekromancas will be converted from night goblins) and 40 Skeleton orks converted from a Dungeons and Dragons skeleton ork miniature. 6 Centorks (counts as nob bikers) converted to match the freakish boss. made from nobs models cut up and recombined with the lower halfs of boars and GS'd stiches along the cuts. 9 Ghorks (ghost orks, counts as kommando's) converted from nobs models and painted to look like they are half ghostly and half phasing into reality. The fluff behind them is that they were freeboota mercs killed by Da Big Neks warband in the day before the warband was poisened and reanimated by Da Big Nek, in a bizzare turn of events the souls of the Freeboota's were seperated from their bodies and given physical form by the reanimation device. after many attempts to leave the company of Da Big Nek it seems that without the persistant field of modified WAAAGH! energy created by the reanimation device they disintigrate, thus the freeboota's stick around using their ghostly status to cause havoc on the enemies flanks and rear. 3 Kannons converted to look like they are created from the corpses and bones of defeated enemies. And lastly Da Bone Beast, a monstrously huge 4 armed amalgam of various trophies Da Big Nek has accumilated over the years, serving as both a warning to potential enemies and an incredibly destructive killing machine. So what do you think guys? P&M blog or not?

Some fluff to tease you guys
Gazgrub hated orks.
The foolish oafs stank of fungus beer, charred squigflesh and their own execrement yet seemed happy to gloat over the fires of wrecked tanks and the carcasses of foes. They mindlessly hack at corpses dispite the lack of any signs of life in a barbaric attempt to gain trophies while others hammer away at scrap metal in the hopes of miraculously creating a functional peice of technology, a feat illogical yet often attained. They torture, bully and kill their grot servants and occasionally each other over trivial matters or simply for fun. And that is why gazgrub had spent the previous years of his short grot life preparing. Preparing, plotting and planning for the day he would take revenge on his orkish masters for the cruelties they inflicted apon him, and more importantly for ignoring his genius.
At the end of a hole that was previously the burrow of what seems to be a hopper-squig lay Gazgrubs lair and within it stood a small wooden table, on this table was what appeared to be a simple orb of copper that shone with a radiant green glow and next to it several bottles of carefull distilled squig poisen.
The bottles were constructed of a particularly thick and strong glass, for the chemicals within the squigicde ironicly killed the fungus that gave the very greenskins who created it their robust natures and when distilled to the level Gazgrub had provides a potent method of killing his masters while they slept, for this was exactly Gazgrubs plan.
To kill his brutish masters and force them to serve him in undeath via his true masterpeice.
The Animatrix
C+C on the fluff please?
im unsure on the name "animatrix" as it doesnt really sound like something a greenskin would use, however from the writing already it seems Gazgrub doesn't have the intelect of the standard Grot

You could have your uber HQ have an ability where if he kills a figure with a save that does not involve an invuln save in close combat, that figure rises up to fight with your zombie orks. The reason I think that Invuln saves should negate the "rising" is that I think of invuln saves being something that damages the figure beyond turning. That would be pretty sweet!
btw, if you use my idea, I want my name in the codex you sell to GW lol
Edit: BTW, sweet idea you got goin there. I cannot wait to see some pictures.

Funny one of my mates suggested a simmilar thing he even wrote a codex for rules for infection type zombie armies, but alas these are just counts as orks so no special rules.
Thanks for the support though

Hört auf darüber zu reden. Ich will Bilder sehen!
Nice fluff. But wasn't you're original concept something along the lines of the Nek creating the Zorks by accident?
Making his former masters serve him in death doesn't sound like an idea an Ork would have.

A night Goblin as a base sounds like a good start, but you should get a hero model or soemthing like that. The plastic goblins are too static.

I meant to use the night goblins for the lesser grot necromancers, Da Big Nek will be a HEAVILY converted model and will probably be based on a hero model like you said.
