As title is stated. I thought about Tau for awhile, but then my oldest brothers girlfriend, decided she liked them and now plays them. So That bugs me, and now they are off the shelf lol. But a VERY close second to wanting Tau, is the Necrons. I want to play a shooty army since my Orks are smash and grab, like the Tremor brothers, but green and more numerous.
The Necrons will be my second army of choice. So how about it dakka, what 2nd,3rd,4th....millionth army would you like to get into?

I have plenty enough Armies - my sig doesn't even include non-40k stuff.

What I want is more Apoc stuff to fill them out more & bigger!

I don't want Orks of any type, so no Stompas.

I would be happy when the plastic Warhound arrives, though.

For 40k I'd probably build Orks, with lots of bikes and trukks

A masochistic part of me always wants to paint Space Marines in a new color. I think I'll resist those urges and stick with my Crimson Fists, Space Wolves, and retired Dark Angels. I started Guard with the new codex, but really didn't get very far. I've got 10 Catachans and a command squad painted up. Instead I got distracted by Orks, who I'm having a blast painting.

Instead of starting a new army, I'd opt to make my Guard into a real army.

After I finish painting my Orkz (by summers end I pray) & complette the Traitor Guard I'm working on (wich will take me well into the new year),I'll perhaps start a Dark Eldar army...if the've been updated by that time.
As DE were the army that began my adventures in the world of 40K,I feel I sort of owe them a place on my painting table, that is of course if the minis are available by 2010.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Twisted Trueborn with Blaster

Massive Imperial Guard gunline with loads of Basilisks and Leman Russes. So many that I wouldn't get a way to carry them to our gaming club.
Also some kind of Ninja Tau or the basic gunline Tau with as many Broadsidewhatevertheywere teams as possible.
Also Plague Marine Chaos Space Marine army with many Obliterators (god I still hate typing that)

Win/Draw/Lost statics
Space Orks: 11/1/1
Space Marines: 10/2/5
Lizardmen: 8/2/3
High Elves: 13/2/2 and one tournament victory!
Dark Eldar: 1/0/0

Hmm Tyrinids (They were nearly my first army but I liked spikes to much) or (Traitor) Dark angels (same as nids) or chaos caachans (because I like spikes and everyone gaets cadians)

A firm believer in yin and yang.

I would like to play an Air Cav army in order to give me a flavor how different it is from my mech Eldar army.

I would add a bunch of wyches to my Dark Eldar so I could run a Wych list. That would push them to Apocalypse size.

Add more Tzeentch and Nurgle Daemons to round out my Daemon army since its mostly Khorne and Slaanesh.

Sister Vastly Superior

Erm... well... If I ever get enough Guard/Sisters (not that I have any sisters yet), i'll pick up the models for an Eldar court of the young king (apoc formation) with extras of the good aspects, then a green tide ork army (must include a Shock Attack Gun. Also wierdboyz. Also other hilarious ork stuff that may just win the battle with no hope for the other chap, or may explode/headbanger/long-ranged-assault some termies). If I get all that done, and can be bothered at that point, along come some necron footsloggers of glance-you-to-death anti-tank fail. Then re-jig everything to be up-to-date. Then actually make a tournament list.

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can.

Boosting Space Marine Biker

first would be space marines then chaos marines then Grey knights/ deathwatch then perhaps the Tanith first and only, because I like the Cain model and his command squad and I think it may be easy to convert Catachans into the Tanith first and only

Hmm.. If I were to start a new army I'd have to decide if I want to take the easy route or the fun route.

If I went the easy route I'd crack open my Fantasy Daemon box and see what I managed to buy for that army (which I never finished - or even really started) and make some Slaanesh heavy 40K Demon army.

If I went the fun route I'd do an Ork army the right way. I'd take my time and have a whole mess of Boyz. Then I'd build them some over the top, improbable converted vehicles. Not that the Demon army wouldn't be fun, but at this point I have a couple of nicely playable armies so it would be nice to build a new one for the journey as well as the destination.

Ork are my new project, I have been playing Tau for a while and they are amazing bit sitting in place and blowing the crap out of my opponent before they get to me is fun for a while but it gets old fast.

Orks add a whole new dimension to the game for me in the way of converting and modeling as well as a very unorthodox kind of game play as Orks are assaulty but at the same time they can be a super shooty army despite their BS of 2.
