Command Tank: In a squadron of this tank, a tank is designated a Command Tank. All tanks within 12” do not suffer from crew shaken or stunned

DESCRIPTION: Fira’s monstrosity became several months after a Tau attack on its outer most planets. The T-34/85 was designed to help the Baneblade Super Heavy tanks in open field combat. It never achieved this role, as the first 2000 of this tank were thrown out into combat on Fira itself. At first crews complained of the noise alerting the enemy and repositioning to take them on. And that the treads were open to fire, and that there was only as single heavy bolter, but after the battle outside Fira’s Capital, all the complaints had disappeared. They we’re replaced by stories that seemed like myth and tales of great heroism. Imperial Guard forces using the tank suffered only 184 lose with the Tau losing 380 tanks. One Story of the T-34/85 was that the tank toke a direct to its treads and its engine. Bellowing black smoke, the Tau and Imperial Guard forces assumed it destroyed until the thunderous engine roared to life and threw the tank forward out of the smoke taking aim, firing, and knocking out the tank that tried to destroy it.

Now if you wish to give advice to people about other units... Now the T-34/85 and most the units I post will be Imperial Guard... now if you post related to a spefic race, please post it allong with the unit.

I'm going to give you all the tanks for you. They are all Imperial Guard...

After three engagements with Tau Forces, the forces were forced to retreat to friendly lines. Quickly, requests for a tactical tank for dropping behind the lines to help the Jumptrooper Companies. The request went to Fira, a nearby Forgeworld; quickly produce twelve thousand of these tanks for Capella’s Jump Regiments and several other regiments. At first they were consider the best tank so far, other than the shorter gun range. But then the flaws began to become apparent. It weak armour gave little protection and the engine used an extremely volatile fuel. This created high causality rates among the tank crew. But its mobility makes it easy to get to a point and fight back the Xeno’s.

The techpreist’s came up with very little mainly a strong hull Leman Russ. The Answer would come from Capella’s local techpreist, coming up with the Cromwell Attack Tank. It’s had a strong tread design with a special suspension system. Nearby planets like the Desert planet Raxter II began to purchase these tanks for its capabilities of a tactical command Platform for commander. They have been claimed as being bulking and unwanted by Jungle Commanders and Iceworld Commanders, but they praise and have proved themselves time and again in field, desert and urban combat.

Relatively new, it’s only served for three years against Tau and rebelling forces, proving effective against both. Its cannon is stronger than a Medusa siege Mortar, but has a limitation on its capability of fighting with no defensive weapons for urban or Forest combat so it is always to have two to three squad guarding it at all times.

UNIT OR FORMATION NAME: Achilles Tank Destroyer

Achilles TD 3 13 10 10
SPECIAL RULES: None
ADDITIONAL INFO: 3 Achilles per Squadrons, 2 Squadrons
DESCRIPTION: Another Capellian Masterpiece, these monstrosities are meant only for finding and destroying enemy tanks. Along with the Vanquisher Cannon, the tank is open topped for the crew to have a better view of the enemy increasing their chances of scoring a kill. But as time would prove with other tanks, its design comes with flaws and great fall backs. While its armour on the front is strong and can take a hit, its side and rear armour it easily punched through. Its open crew compartment also proved to be fatal as it is leaves the crew to the elements and snipers. Like its sister tank the Marder III, it is well suited for urban combat and field combat, but lags in snowy, muddy or even rainy weather along with its inability to adapt to unique situations.

DESCRIPTION: During the first weeks of the Drop Regiments training days, a new vehicle was introduced on Capella and was quickly adopted by the Drop Regiment and named the Jeep because of it rugged body. Before they complete the design though, Tau forces thrashed and devastated the planet before the construction could be completed. Quickly the design was transferred to Capella and construction was started. The first tank was terrible and it was scraped, quickly being redesigned for Urban situation. By this time the tank had become completely like a Capellian design and Fira had been designed. The first Dozen built and place in a new regiment for training when Tau forces attacked. Even though all were lost the twelve had achieved over 176 Tau vehicles destroyed over three days.

SPECIAL RULES: NONE
ADDITIONAL INFO: 1 Per Jagd team
DESCRIPTION: After the success of the Tiger, a new tank rolled of beside its sister tank, taking the Krieg’s word for hunting, the JAGDTIGER. Hiding in wait, this tank could knock out a team of tanks and leave before the enemy could return fire. Their powerful guns force the tank to be redesigned to compensate for its high level of recoil, but the design brought forward three problems. One was the guns could only fire straight forward, give the tank no way to defend themselves. But still the tanks continue to prove their worth with scoring 10 kills for every tank lost.

You obviously put a lot of work in this, I'll give you that.

But...what is the point of this? You posted lots of 2nd millenium tanks, alright. Do you want to field Revell/Tamiya/Whatever models in your 40k games?

And, with all due respect, some of the stats seem ridiculous, beginning with the T34. Okay, it was a good tank - IN 1940! Did you do the stats based on the real tank? I mean...I mean...it is supposed to have better rear armour than EVERY vehicle short of a Land Raider/Monolith? Its 85mm gun should count as a Vanquisher cannon? Then what stats would have a Leopard 2A6 with its modern 120mm cannon? S12 AP0.5 ultra-doom big fething gun, ignoring everything?

I guess I should stop writing here...still confused

...to just add a little thought, a Leman Russ weighs 60t, the T34 33t. And this 33t is better amoured, has structure points, its funny "I'M LOUD FEAR ME" rule and thereby supposed to be noisier than a tank with double weight? And all that being, you know, 38.000 years short in technological advancement? WHY?

Postscriptum: Don't get me wrong, I like the general idea of what you did. I just don't really understand, I guess.

Postpostscriptum: T34 has armour values of about 20-70mm of steel. A Leman Russ has 150mm of ceramite/plasteel-compound stuff armour on the hull and 200mm on the turret.

And both have AV14 front armour? AND the T34 has a melta-ignoring hit-reducing rule?

...well, I will now just assume that these units are supposed to be NEW 40k tanks, the best stuff the Adeptus Mechanicus has to offer and that their resemblance to WW2 tanks is simply coincidental. Even that way this thing is overpowered.

... well I dont know if i should... there things like fairness... and practability. Like the T-34/85 tank is a super heavy tank, but it seems over powered... but i took a Baneblade stats and looked to see i i coun't dumb it down for this tank... and i suck a converting and making new vehicles so I take my adantage of having other stores that seal these tanks for pretty cheap and that is my main idea of these vehicle... but i need to know if i'm making them overpowered or an uber unit... I think the Musik Pulvisein and the Emperors fury railway gun is just a little over power but i think thats becuase i wanted to make up for its size and cost.... I'm just trying to see if my vehilces are overpowered.

A galaxy far far away

I think you guys are bing a little unfair to the OP, I mean hes got an idea to use WW2 tanks in his game and came up his own rules.

I think that anything that inspires creativity is to be commended, but that being said, this belongs in Proposed Rules.

Other then that, the look ok, some stuffs a little over the top and needs to be tweaked.
