Ork Warlord with 1 extra re-roll

Maniac Gunners

Kill Kroozer (warlord here)

6 Onslaught escorts (Gunz)

6 Onslaught escorts (Gunz)

6 Ravager escorts (Torpedoes)

I think it's 1000 pts exactly. Not sure though because in my book the fleet list has different points cost than the ship pages.

Hmm.... and the pdf version lists the warlord as 10 points cheaper than my hard copy? What gives?

The PDF on the GW website should be the most up to date copy of the rules. Some of the points values on things have been revised, so I'd go with the PDF. If your PDF copy is old, go to the GW website and make sure you have the latest version.

The bad news is, there are typos in the pdf where the costs are listed differently in different places.

All the Ork escorts are 40 pts (excepting the Brute). I'd go with the listed cost for the warlord, as they wouldn't have changed it if they didn't mean to.

Really? In my book and on the pdf it goes like this:

Onslaught 45
Savage 40
Ravager 35
Ram ship 25

That's consistent except in the fleet list at the end where the costs for the savage and ravager are switched around. And as far as I can tell the ork warboss is 40 points.

Yeah, but you'll notice in the PDF that the points costs on the pages where the ships are described are different than the fleet list, and that the Onslaught's Firepower is D6 instead of D6+1. Same with the Retribution and Emperor battleships and Styx heavy cruiser, the pdf updated the stat page prices but neglected to change the fleetlist entry.

Personally, I preferred the Orc priced the other way, for variety of points costs to work with, though i suppose the Ravager was undercosted.

Now I'm extra confused. I can't find the pdf that lists all escorts at 40 pt each. I checked Ships of the Gothic Sector and Xenos Fleets, and those have different prices for each ork escort.

Look in your Ships of the Gothic Sector pdf, on pages 35 and 36, where the ships' stats are given in detail. You'll notice that the points costs there have been changed vs the hardcopy and fleetlist. The onslaught's gunz are different from the hardcopy as well.

The change came after Armada was released and they didn't update any prices in that pdf either.
