So I started looting A Valkyria today, I have some stompa missles and other stuff to add on soon as it gets here..Any ideas ????

No , its just A base coat of rust , blk, gray spray paint .

Agreed. I would like to see how this finishes up though, it is an interesting idea.

Consider replacing those missiles with proppa orky shootas. Greenstuff a bunch of rokkits to look like they taped them together.

Looks like a regular valk with a half an ork, and an ork emblem on the hull.

Needs to look like it crashed or something. The Imperium typically doesn't relinquish equipment to Orks in prime condition or anything resembling serviceable. Unfortunately "completely unserviceable" doesn't really bother Orks, and they'll tack on some rockets, patch up the big holes, jump in, and give it a go.

I always like to think that Ork technology works chance. Enough orks trying to build a craft, a most will never even move, a lot will explode and kill everyone involved, some will take off, then quickly crash, a few out of a hundred will operate long enough for them to get in a fight, then self-detonate, but every once in a while an Ork gets the right formula by luck and makes something that keeps operating.

Crumple some of it up, maybe blow out then repair an engine or a wing. Different weapons are obviously needed, hodgepodge a landing system, tear open that cargo section, Orks are too big and they don't seem to like closed moving vehicles.

I hope you're gonna do more to it. Right now it just looks like a stock Valk with a couple of glyphs glued on and some red paint.

Not so Orky.

On the other hand, if those glyphs were magnatized so you could use the stock Valk for IG too... genius.

screw the cockpit with an ork in it. Put the 'pilot' on the top of thing between the engines, and turn the whole front into a boomgun. Break the wings apart into pieces and put them back together poorly using many pieces of plastic as bracers. make the engine exhaust very large and obnoxious. Make everything very large and obnoxious. If you have to have the rockets, replace the rocket pods with rokkit pods (yes there's a difference). And put wheels on it. Orks dont really "get" that hover crap. I did that with my looted drop pod. Turned it on its side and put wheels on it. Theres some ideas for ya.

This is an excellent idea, but all it looks like you did was glue on a handful of ork bits.... It doesn't look looted or really even converted =/

BREAK a wing and then attach it again but just hold it by several planks (patched up).

You could also remove a turbine and attach a deffkopta rotor in the middle of the wing (think old carrier planes).

Look at the Deffkoptas in the AoBR set, then try to do the same thing they did for the helicopter blades for the wings. Maybe, if possible, get some of the propellers and put them onto the Valkyrie. Maybe one on each wing somewhere. Not on the front like the propellers on a plane, but on the top as if it were keeping it in the air by pulling it upwards. The jets make it go forward so it could go up or down like a helicopter.

I would agree that adding riveted patch panels haphazardly would look orkish. Maybe lash a shoota in place of the lascannon that could be installed. Lastly, I don't play orks so correct me if i'm wrong, they like things to go fast so they supercharge stuff. Maybe some ork "upgrades" to the engines?

If you're going to have guns hanging off the sides, maybe make some Grots look like they're tied in place with them, using green stuff for rope.

Looks great. If I were you I'd paint the weapons and rockets a different color than the body to add some flavor.

Love the exposed cockpit idea.

Only real advice i can give you is have a grot ride the big missle on top, i can't see orks having targeting systems so that's probably the best chance they have of hitting anything. And also consider chopping a piece of one of the tail struts off and making it look like theres one tiny piece barely holding it together, seems orky to me.

Also don't make the bombs on the wings the same each side. It's an ork thing. as if they understand symmetricallity. Have different stuff on the other wing.
