Hey...

I've just found a Revell-kit of an U.S. LVT-(A)1 Amtank in the net...
The scale is 1/35 and I don't exactly know, if the tank will be about the size of a Chimera or more about a Superheavy...

I also think, it could work as a Landraider, because of the storm-ramp ...

I thought of exchanging the machinegunner with some (3 or 4) Imperial Soldiers with Lasguns... For showing the six Lasrifles of the ordinary Chimera, when it is manned...
I also thought of glueing a few batteries and cables on the tank-turret, because I love the Chimera with Lasgun...

What do you think???

Best regards

Lol it could work. I'd see if I could get an out-of-the-box look at it first though. And you'd need to shove on some eagles and skulls...just to make sure.

@ colonel584:

I thought the main-weapon of the standard Chimera is a Lascanon, isn't it?

Here:

A picture of Sha1emade's Chimera WITH Lascanon... (Correct me, if I'm wrong, but I mean the weapon in the turret and the weapons at the rearside are Lasguns, aren't they?)

It is a multilaser, not a lascannon

The standard main weapon of the Chimera is the multi-laser (3 shots, Str 6, AP6).

That is rather nice!
I would love a thread were everyone can post a list of models that are ideal to use as vehicle stand ins in 40k games.

Go on the intranets (wiki is good in this regard). Find the dimensions of the actual vehicle then divide by the aspect ratio of the mini. I've done that in the past with a very good thumbnail of the true size it would be.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Hey!

Manny thanks to all of you!

And I'm sorry, because of the 'laser-mistake'...
