If a unit of 5 cavalry is charged on its flank but the combat ends up as a draw does the cavalry unit stay in that position or does it turn into the combat?

A unit can only turn to face if it wins the fight. A draw is not a win.
He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.
Felllade is 100% correct, but you must also bring MORE models into combat by turning also. If you bring same, or less with the turn, it's no-bueno. I still can't figure out why.
