I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's rogue trader era. I have some 2nd ed. termies, and they already look more advanced.

Ni, it's a Terminator. I can't tell exactly which type but the giveaway is the suspenders holding up the boots, and the big backpack.

It is a termie. It is actually compatible with the old termie arms from second edition.

Definitely RT era.
I have one of the first terminators and that actually has separate arms but importantly has a separate back piece which sort of looks like a shell, so I don't think that this is it. Ifri remember this was issued at the same time as the first genestealer and was approximately when Adeptus Titanicus was released.
I think it is actually either the second design or the first chaos terminator (they were allot less spiky in those days), Not sure if that is a eagle or a chaos sysbol on the chest plate?
The third design (as shown in the second image above) was the captain figure included in the terminator box set, along with a librairian and six(?) other trooper figures (not including any space hulk designs).
Sorry, i'm no good at the interwebz so can't find any images and its far too warm to go in the loft and search through old WDs.

It's one of three prototype designs released in early Rogue Trader for Terminator Armour.
None really resembled the modern suit in the end!

It's the 3rd style they released, the first was the round head and enormous shoulders with both arms down at the sides, the second was blockier that this one and is the rarest, this was then released.
Shortly thereafter the eagle armour was released little by little until it replaced the beakies, I always thought this variant of the termi armour inspired the eagle.
