Right not the other two gangs appear to be delaques and van saar, but by the time this thing gets off and running there should be more. The plan with the list is to be close combat oriented, everyone essentially has a short range weapon, move in, and use overwhelming numbers to take people out. There's 20 credits left in the stash, which will hopefully be spent on swords or chainswords after the first game. The heavies are there so that they can gain exp, and eventually I'll have the creds to give them heavy stubbers.

Call the gang "In your face!" and then name the characters for some punching action like:

Knuckle Sandwich
Jab
Hook
'Eadbut
Sucker Punch
Bone Head
Glass Jaw
Earbiter
Nose Masher
etc. etc.

I have a word of warning for you. Goliaths are one of the weakest gangs you can start. Their skills list (ferocity, muscle and combat) are without a doubt some of the poorer skills. If you like close combat go Escher. They are the only gang to start with swords on armoury list and with their stealth and agility skills they actually have a chance to get into close combat.

I'd get heavy weapons right at the start. It's the only time you KNOW you've got the credits to spare.

Yes, I know about the weaknesses of the goliath gang. I'm playing them for two reasons.... 1 I'm the only one in the group with experience with necromunda, their handicaps should equal the playing field. 2 They're my favorite gang, regardless of their weaknesses.
