Do you think 1/72 scale soldiers will fit well with 1:76 scale tanks?

I have wargamed in 1/72 for a long time, and most of the time mixing 1/76 is not a problem. I would only suggest that you don't mix scales of similar tanks.

For example a friend used 1/76 kangaroo carriers but then 1/72 shermans and it looked a little odd.

Otherwise mixing the scales is usually the only way to fill the gaps. Certainly the general plastic figures look fine next to 1/76.

Though if you have any concerns you can always check out http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Index.aspx which has a scale guide with each review. And you can see from it stuff like the valient plastics as lovely as they are, are larger then 1/72 really. So while i have found you can mix them with 1/72 vehicles at a push they look plainly silly next to 1/76.

Simple answer: yes.

Salad_Fingers points out a real problem with mixing scales in armor. (But infantry sometimes have similar problems with sclae between manufacturers, too). You can also bulk up smaller kits a bit with plasticard, too.

Depends on the time of day really.

On the surface the answer is yes.

The hard part comes when you are comparing ranges. I have a friend who just bought a 1/55th scale Chinook that has the same measurements of my 1/72 Chinook. As the guy who ran the LFGS said; " Alot of times the scale fits the package."

If it works for you, and you are happy with the game you are putting on, enjoy your game.

Signatures?!? Signatures?!? We dont need no stinking signatures!!!

I have a mixture of tanks and figures of both scales and fits very well, but some brands 1/72 figures are very big (by example italeri Afrika Korps that are in scale 2,10 meters tall!)
