Those runes are looking nice! I like the blend of yellow and orange colors you used.

Thanks! I used thinned Khorne Red followed by Troll Slayer Orange and Gruel Yelloww for the runes, eyes and fire.

Next up is painting all the little bobbles like the ropes, chains, stakes and bones.

Continuing to work on getting my Slaanesh army painted. One Exalted Chariot out of three done...took like 8 damn hours. And I definitely skipped some detail. Working on Seekers and Seeker Chariots now. I want a full foot list and a full cav list available for use!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I am looking forward to seeing this finished. Those pillars really do invoke some of the imagery seen in many of the illustrations regarding the epic proportions of the buildings. They have a much stronger age of myth vibe than the GW terrain for sure.

So I'd like to finally be able to add my own addition to this thread. I present to you my version of Morathi, the very first AoS model I've ever painted. I have many more shots of her in my painting log here on Dakka, link in my sig. Hope you guys like her.

Working on my Fane now. It’s gonna be in every game, should make it look awesome.

Beautiful model Auticus, love the colour choices. I'm in love with the new KoS sculpt but man that price tag made me sick the first time I looked at it. Pretty much singlehandedly decided for me right there if I was going to start a Slaanesh army... I chose not to sadly.

Thanks. Yeah thats how GW rolls. Not just GW though. I'm finding the price point for models like this are largely climbing with everyone.

Nice keeper! I like how there's a model on his base, bowing down over just how benevolent she is.

Haha, that's brilliant (and, of course, beautifully painted! )

My latest delve into AoS has been with a trio of Nightvault warbands, because Elf Trees, Flower Ghosts and Balloon Dwarves are just perfect encapsulations of the artistic freedom of the AoS setting. For Thundrik here, I went back to my more 40k-esque approach, really dirtying up the gear to give it an authentic feel. He was a pain to work on, but I'm happy with the final result.

Any thoughts are of course welcome!

Those might be the best ones I've seen of that set. Well done, Elmir.

Your work is as awesome as ever Elmir!

I finished up 10 Thralls and a slightly converted soulscryer. I have 3500 pts of deepkin finished now and I have painted everything I bought for the army.
I am calling the project finished for now. Next project is a Realm of Fire table for my club in Leuven (BE)

Amazing endless spells up there.

I hit up 29 (cause one broke during airbrushing) of these boys with Vallejo Ghost Grey, a slight white zenithal, and one thick coat(TM) of Plaguebearer Flesh

Awesome! I really do love the new contrast paints. I'll be trying to add a few more updates using that too (as soon as purely new projects start getting more fleshed out). I meanwhile continue to use my classic methods for my death army:

More updates on endless spells and a new vampire lord to ally to my nighthaunt force!

The last endless spell from forbidden power is also finished.

That's just a shaded bonecolour, same as the ribs, but with a fairly liberal coat of tamiya clear red. I still like that one better for fresh blood over blood for the blood god. Also dries a bit more glossy.

VERY slowly painting BoC (current progress on my Gorghon, and my finished Herdstone):
Gorghon (sorry abour the fuzzy back shot):

Herdstone:
Spoiler:

BoC have ended up my slow build army as I am pushing things like how I paint skin (tattoos to come for the Gorghon as well as fur, leather, ect) so I started looking at another project I wanted to do, especially since Contrast means faster painting now: so for 40k I'm working on a Feral Orks army with conversions and count as (Morr Boys as Choppa boys, Boar Orks on Squig Hoppers to make Stormboyz, Boar Boyz on Terradons for Deffcoptas, Manger Squigs as all melee Deff Dreads, Stegadons for Battlewagons). All the "count-as" stuff will be things I can use in AoS as Bonesplitterz so I can build and paint two armies for the price of one.
