I have a necromunda gang but have never played any games, due to the fact that my friend would much rather play Mordheim. However, as primarily a modeller and painter, I fnd no interest in Mordheim due to the dire models that the GW site promotes. Has anyone tried to make custom warbands out of other miniatures? I am thinking of making a beastmen warband using herds and a blister of WHFB bestigors, and finishng with Glade Rider/Herd centigors. Has anyone done this? If so, how to make the shaman and chief?

Mordhiems got to be my favourite game. Agree on the models though they're not great. The accessory sprue has a few nice bits (book, chest etc.) but most of that stuffs hard to use. I made a zombie pirate warband, had great fun both making and playing it (used counts as undead). The warband contains a very simple but my favourite conversion I've done - Cannonball Bill - a Zombie, head under arm and a cannon ball on his neck. It's so subtle most people miss it but i like it
