I am currently modelling my Space Marine army after the SoulDrinkers renegade chapter. If you haven't heard of them check out this link [wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Souldrinkers]
My current army will number somewhere around 80-85 total troops, mainly composed of tactical marines in an assault role. I do understand that according to fluff they are limited as to what they can have, but I am choosing to use whatever vehicles I can. I could say they found an abandoned Imperial ship in the bowels of their Space Hulk Brokenback. Generally as the book says they ahve an extremely limited number of suits of Terminator Armor. What would be an acceptable number of Terminators to field? I currently have 5 Assault Terminators and 10 Terminators painted and based. I feel that out of the 1000 Souldrinkers 15 suits of Terminator Armor would be suitable.

I will not (going against popular demand) be using Sarpedon as I am having a difficult time finding the right models for conversion.

I will be using Sgt. Luko a converted Chapter Champion
Captain Karraidan leading my Terminator Squad
Chaplain Iktinos in Terminator Armor leading my Assault Termies
Veteran Sgt. Graevus. I ahve converted him, but his mutated arm is left instead of right (oops!) I used a command squad Power fist holding onto a custom Force/chainaxe.
Librarian Tyrendian in Terminator Armor
I also have a version of Tellos, but I will have to model him some more to make him appear without armor and hulking.

I will be posting pics to my gallery when I am finished.

Go to a toy shop, find a toy spider, chop its legs off to give to Sarpedon.

I have been attempting exactly that but the scale is never right.

The Goblin Spider Rider Chieftain actually is about perfect from Fantasy, but I don't feel like dropping the 35 USD for it.

I'm guessing you'll be getting those SH termies too with the chalices they have on their armour.
