Has anyone received an email from GW, about the online prize draws?
I checked my email every couple of hours a day for the entire month but nothing.

How do you enter into this drawing?

well, the month isn't over, so I'd expect something mid next week

What, you have to select a store? Every time I try that though it just deletes it automatically every time I go back to the site, and says "Choose a store" again.

Don't tell me you won't be eligible for the prize draw because of something stupid like that.

No, you're ineligible for the in-store prize draws.

Not the online massive army, etc ones.

Well I just think it's stupid that I can't actually pick a store to begin with.

I believe the prize drawing for the GW web promotion is at the end of August. Still a few days to go.

If you have an account on the GW website, you are automatically entered for the grand prize drawing. If you have chosen a store using the "My Store" feature, you are also entered in the drawing to win one Battleforce or Battalion of choice being given away for each GW store in the chain.

It would be nice if I was allowed to log in to set a My Store, however it just tells me to verify my email, which it refuses to send me, so I can't.

Call US Customer Service on Monday morning and they will straighten your problem out for you. The phone number is on the GW website.

Although its true its very unlikely he may not win. If everyone had the same mindset as you and nobody thought they would win and nobody checked to see... Then no one would win... It doesnt hurt to check... although it may be a little excessive at most

It wouldnt let me pick my local game store either. I had to pick the closest GW hobby center which is over 300 miles away. So my assumption is that you have to pick your "local" GW store. Just hope if i iwin i dont have to drive down there to pick that stuff up.

You should be able to choose any store you want as "My Store". If you're having problems with the website, you might want to call Customer Service for assistance.

I can't pick a store because there isn't a GW store anywhere near me (Thank GOD!).

Chicago is 8 hours away. I'd make the drive for some free stuff. Just make a day of it.

I'll be a sport and not lie about whether I have a store or not. There aren't any in my state to begin with, so I'll be content with just being entered for the big one. If I really wanted to I could pick some store in New England and possibly with there rather than someone who actually goes to the store.

Oh, so maybe that's it. We have plenty of indies, but no actual GW store in Missouri anymore, and I guess the site won't let you choose a lowly independent retailer for your store, even if it IS your store...

If you were clever you'd choose one of the very recently opened ones under the theory that relatively few people would have had chosen it as "my store" yet, thus increasing the odds of being the winner for that store.

Luckily I do have a local store, and I'm not too aware of too many people going there, so I may just have a chance.
