These guys were the inspiration for the Crimson Guard which first appeared in The Lathe Worlds.

Those guys were awesome. IIRC the same line had some go cart servitors soon. I always felt like GW took a lot of inspiration from it.

Though of course we know the GW sculptors never take inspiration from anything, they swore to that in court after all.

I ordered some Tamiya plastic "cement" and some white primer. I was VERY tempted to buy another kit of Corsairs, a Wraithknight and a couple of other things, buuuut, I swore I wouldn't buy any more minis until I finish my 40k Pile of Shame. I kinda broke that promise by buying Lelith, but I'm sticking to that now. Got so much to do that it isn't funny, but I'm determined to get it done.

Sigh! I broke my promise and bought two High Elf Prince boxes from eBay, so I can one day, maybe, complete my Prince Alladhiir Alkanthos mini I began, maybe, a decade ago. Maybe more. Also, just in case I could have him for when GW bring back The Old World will also have to one day begin assembling my Dragon too. With that done I might have somewhat of an army to play with. Somewhat lol

I got the new Heresy box and picked up some additional mk6 marines to utilize the new heavy and special weapons. Just waiting on lascannons/autocannons.

Nabbed a couple of the 3rd ed Inquisitorial retinue members, (a cherub, acolyte and one of those nervous looking servitor guys) for $30+ shipping.

Yesterday my Cicada battlemech arrived in my mailbox.
My goal of having at least 5 of every mech (1 for each of the 5 main factions) from the 3925 technical readout book is now complete.

Last night at the shop I picked up the Comstar box containing the Flashman & Crocket - the final two 2750/Comstar mechs needed to have at least 1 of each.

18 Clan mechs & I'll call the collection complete.
(I rarely use the Clans, so 1 of each tonnage + an extra 60 ton will sufice)

Before they vanish for good, 3 Start Collecting! Khorne Daemons.

Just bought a whole lot of things like Vallejo texture paint, astrogranite Debris as I've almost run out of it, and some more magnets. Also, a pair of magnifying lenses which will be interesting to use. Also ordered another new Autarch and a few more Windriders off eBay which saved me quite a lot of money.

Found a bloke selling a custom made Ent on ebay. Matched up with the official GW/FW ones quite nicely so I nabbed it.

Bit of an impulse buy that I now have to factor into the hobby budget, but nothing too major.

I sold my Ossiarch Bonereapers (don't play AOS enough to need two armies), and used part of the funds to buy another box of Wardogs for my Chaos Knights army.

Plus a couple sets of skulls, as I figure these are the kinds of things that could go OOP without warning, and I need 'em for my Ork and Death World tables.

Now I have terrible KAS (Kit Aquisition Syndrome) for a OOP Centaur Artillery Tractor for my DKoK! Scalpers are asking close to 200€ for one, FML...

Got a bunch of Variags of Khand stuff for Middle-Earth. 2 boxes of infantry, one 2-pack of cavalry, and a King on Chariot. I wanted more cavalry but they are kind of scarce on eBay at anything resembling reasonable prices. I also got a set of Battle Systems terrain for possible use with Necromunda.

Bought some Warp Spider proxies and Eldar heads from eBay. Would've liked to buy some Fire Dragon proxies and an awesome Lelith Hasperax proxy buy decided to save a for a while first. My backlog is also still too big.

Snapped up one of the last Killzone Chalnath boxes before they disappear from the shops altogether. Now I have all four of the KT21 Season 1 Campaign books and all the Killzones as well

Even if Into the Dark is going into the pile, I have my doubts about collecting all 4 boxes from Season 2. Storage space is running out..!

I have dipped a toe into 3D printing by buying some stls and sending them to the guy with a printer in our group.
