I dislike Chibi so much....The only model in here I like is Dr. Doom. I'm not a fan of his, but he looks so pouty sitting in his throne like "I am DOOM!, and they made me into a Chibi"

I hope we get another good batch of expansions, but even without that, so far the character selections are Primo.

Was VERY surprised to see God Emperor Doom! Too bad he's not an Anti-Hero tho.

A lot of childhood nostalgia for me so far.

Star Jammers and the Wrecking Crew? Crimson Dynamo and the Soviet Super Soldiers? Most of the classic Heralds of Galactus?
Yeah, I hate to say it, I'll probably have to finally partake in Marvel United.

At least I got a family member one of those crazy Amazon deals when they were up during the holidays, so we can play that in the meantime.

Wonder what other alternative versions of characters we'll see. Agent Venom or Frankencastle would be fun takes.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

War of Kings for the first Add-On/Optional Buy.

Inhuman Royal Family, Gladiator Anti-Hero, Vulcan Villain.

My excitement for this just shot through the roof.

Stretch Goals are also adding in Equipment for old heroes which is really nice. I'm sure they'll also have Add-Ons for Carboard Locations and Villain Boards this run, maybe even another Plastic Tokens Box for new tokens.

I know I've asked previously, but...

...does anyone know of a good ruleset for Superhero miniature gaming that I can use all these minis in?

Slugfest! is pretty good, and there is an older one called Power Legion.

I have heard good things of Super Mission Force, but never played it.

Urusei Yatsura, Cerebus the Aardvark, Machiavelli, Plato and Happy Days. So, how was your childhood?

I would also add Supersystem from the same author as Super Mission Force and Slugfest.

Supersystem is a bit crunchier than the others. SMF is the streamlined version of Supersystem. Slugfest is a super hero dungeon-crawler type rule set.

All good rule sets.

Loving the extra bits they are adding to this game. Equipment and Team Decks are amazing concepts and I'm hyped to see what the last two teams are!

I really like the idea of the team decks...but I wish they offered an Original X-Force, Alpha Flight, New Mutants and Starjammers...

Generic it is!

Just a heads up, but the Marvel United KS just added the promos, or most of them, from BOTH previous campaigns as an optional buy.

I was wondering if they were going to try to do more Comic Events with their expansions and boy was I right, lol.

Secret Invasion should be pretty fun, excited to see what other events could come about in this KS!

I would love to see them tackle a DC United at some point in the future...and Capcom United...

I would have no issue throwing money at those properties. Especially if they could all be combined.

The family and I finally got around to playing our Christmas gift retail United stuff, and boy this game is just a joy to play. It being so light, and so accessible, while still being a good strategic, cooperative exercise has won us over.

I think we're going all-in + original KS promos, as the game really explodes in fun the more options you have.

I strongly recommend getting a playmat as well. It is NOT needed at all, but it changes the visuals of the game and seems to make it even more fun.

Can confirm, the mats are great!

Plastic Multiverse tokens! Just need Cardboard Locations and Cardboard Villain Dashboards for this run!

I wish I could track down the X-men mat, as the new KS is offering a much slimmer, and less impressive mat instead.

Obviously gameplay is king, as a terrible game would have a hard time selling me on good components alone, but once we knew we liked the game, and revisited this KS it really was a slam dunk.

Villains alone add so much longevity to the game, so every one just wows me, whether stretch-goal or expansion.

Really glad I stumbled onto this one thanks to DakkaDakka pointing out the bonkers Christmas Amazon sales!

The Omniverse [ALL-IN] Pledge has dropped for the KS (as it usually does in the final days).

Adds Fin Fang Foom to the pledge as well as everything that's not an accessory for the campaign.

Very VERY happy with the expansions they made for this campaign, I feel like they got to be a little bit more free with their choices for characters and decided that Comic events were the best way to represent this.

My future dream goal is either Hero or Anti-Hero Ronan so I can play all of the Annihilators in one game!

The amount of gameplay in the Omniverse Pledge for the price, is just bananas. We're thinking this can be our family go-to casual game for decades.

Today basically cemented me keeping a pledge.

Gorr, Knull, Gladiator Hulk, Hulkbuster, Man Thing, and Ghost Rider all showing up in quick succession? Heck yeah.

I'd love a Fin Fang Foom, but just can't justify getting all those expansions.

And for those who already have it, are the cardboard add ons really worth it?
