Thirsty Meeples has the Clan Invasion box, the Clan fire star and the Direct Fire lance available.

Not to rub it in but I just got a tracking number from Catalyst for my fancy Stormcrow. Glad for that, I had heard that they could be hit or miss on fulfilling direct orders and this is my first one.

Thanks to Trafalgar Law and BrianDavion for the help.

I just started with the Inner Sphere Direct Fire Lance because I love the look of the Atlas and Crusader. My only concern is mould line removal, as the minis have some shockers on them, I guess a sharp hobby knife and trying to avoid the detail is the way. Also is a wash in warm soapy water advisable before painting?

I'd say yes for the soapy bath. A word of caution when removing the mould lines : it's not HIPS, so best go easy on the blade pressure..

I got my tracking a couple days ago, but it still says usps awaiting item. It's the same thing ebay sellers do sometimes..mark it as shipped but it 'technically' has not shipped yet at all. I'll be surprised if it shows up before next friday tbh.

Same. I didn't know what to expect, but at least it's the first step down.

Interesting new Hellion and Masakari configs in that book. Mastadon looks pretty solid.

Some good Longbow configs in there as well. Surprised about them.

Wasn't it mentioned - in this thread or maybe on the Battletech forum - that CGL was working with IWM to produce the RecGuide 'Mechs in metal ?

Yep. IWM is going to do all the new stuff in metal, so we'll see a Mastodon eventually.

They definitely are making metal Rec Guide figures. They have the Dominator, Hierofalcon, Sojourner and War Crow at least out so far- I probably missed a few. I can't wait for the Hermit Crab and Ion Sparrow.

If Catalyst were to release more mechs... I'd buy a whole regiment.

I could get down for the Plushies, or a Human sized inflatable Archer for boxing, especially if it's one of those tip over ones that self right.

Got my multipart stormcrow in the mail today, pretty happy with it. No real casting issues or weirdness at all, it almost feels more like resin than plastic though. I think it's still technically plastic, but it oddly reminds me of resin more than the typical figures for this game. The mold lines aren't as bad as the models from the armored combat box.

Very much needed to keep the game healthy.

whats most needed is for CGL to fix their supply line issues, even before covid they tended to be pretty poor with that.
