What size should the base for a Steam Tank be? I need to make one for my tank.

I don't think there's an official answer out there, but I think the chariot base is the most common. I've also heard of people making wider ones, since the chariot base doesn't entirely fit the stank.

If you're using the 6E metal Tank, I'd go with 80x120. 50x100 was way too small for me to try to fit that monster on.

The new plastic kit comes with a chariot base (50x100), but a quick comparison with some of the bitz (I have yet to assemble the thing) shows that it's about the same size as the metal one - and hence may not fit well, either.

I have a super old tank, it fits great on the 50 x 100 base. Thanks for the advice!
